EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Replica Ticket vs souvenir ticket - is there a difference?

Replica tikets are on sale online: https://store.uefa.com/uk_en/uefaeuro-2020/memorabilia/replica-tickets.html

Will this be the same as what we get for the souvenir ticket option?

Even though I have purchased a souvenir ticket for the four games I attended, I was thinking about requesting a printed ticket for the final.

In the event, not being able to get a mobile signal outside the ground - it was OK inside - I went to the Ticket Office at Wembley Arena and they printed out a ticket for me.

The mobile ticket was deleted instantly. I guess that as I've paid €15 for a souvenir ticket, you can only have one with an active mobile ticket? As my mobile ticket was deleted, then UEFA won't send me one!?

Anyway, it's good to have a ticket in hand!

P.S. The security for the ticket office was much tighter than getting into the stadium!

I didnt know the ticket office was giving out proper paper tickets. I heard that they would just give you an A4 peice of printed paper with the QR code on. Should have just done that for everygame if thats the case and saved the 15EUR

Do you know if you can personalise the tickets with your seat number, block etc or is it more of a generic souvenir ticket?

I know you can using the link above to buy them, but i am hoping the souvenir ticket will have the details on. Was wondering if anyone who went to the nations league knows?

You can’t personalise unfortunately. If you click the link and ‘details’ it states “cannot be personalised”.

I have ordered quite a few today to supplement the other matches I am due souvenir tickets directly

Also ordered final progs as got to Wembley too late (5.00pm!) and had sold out

    Am I missing something?

If they printed you out a paper ticket to get in with (which presumably you still have) then why would you want a souvenier ticket?

Surely the only reason you'd want one is if your original ticket was on the app?

Cheers Mark, shame that! I guess I will just have to write where I was sitting on the back.

    In reply to Gordon Taylor:

I originally had a mobile ticket for the final, like the three other games I attended.

I ordered a souvenir ticket for all four games that I attended.

When I got to Wembley on Sunday, I couldn't get a mobile network signal, which affected both the NHS and EURO2020 ticket apps.

I did have a printed copy of my COVID jab record, thankfully!

Given, I couldn't get the EURO2020 ticket app to work, I decided to go to the Ticket Office to get a printed ticket.

After going through the comprehensive security, they checked my ID etc and issued me with a printed ticket.

The mobile ticket was cancelled straight away. Presumably, as I no longer have the mobile ticket, then I won't get the souvenir ticket (as UEFA might consider the one printed on the day as being in lieu of a souvenir ticket).

If I get a souvenir ticket too, that's fine, I'll have two (identical) for the final - I'll keep them both!

The point is that I'd actually paid €15 extra for a printed (souvenir) ticket. I'm sure if it'd been widely known you could swap a mobile ticket for a printed ticket on the day, the ticket office would be swamped with collectors!

None of us would've paid the €15 for a printed ticket, when we could've got one for free!

If I'd have known, I'd have asked for a printed ticket on the day before all four games I attended, saving myself €60 in the process!

Should the FA / Wembley decide that ESTC members have mobile tickets only for the forthcoming qualifiers / friendlies / Nations League games, then I'll be requesting a printed ticket on the day, if available.

I hope we get a choice of mobile or printed ticket for the games, when we purchase our tickets!

I also hope that the FA restart issuing matchday programmes from the Andorra game onwards!

By the way - you only needed to pay for the souvenir ticket option once. Wish I had got all of mine printed! from what I understand the souvenir wont have my seat details on.

    In reply to Matthew Exon:

Opinion appears to be divided over whether one payment of €15 covers souvenir tickets for all the matches someone has attended. It certainly did in 2019/early 2020 when we purchased all our tickets in one go.

However, given that UEFA gave an option to purchase a souvenir ticket as we purchased matches individually as the delayed tournament progressed, it makes me think that the single €15 payment for all tickets to one account no longer applied. If that still applied, surely that option would've been blanked out, with a message to say something like 'already requested / allocated' or even just a no-cost option for second match purchase onwards?

After all, this is money grabbing UEFA we are talking about! If they are happy to charge 1,000s of fans €945, €545 or even 'only' €295 for a ticket, quite clearly they wouldn't think twice about charging for something, where it may have been free previously!

If souvenir tickets were ordered along with the tickets (at €15), they will have individual seats printed on them.

However, possibly due to requests, UEFA have now added souvenir tickets to their shop at €10. It would appear that this is a standard ticket (as there doesn't appear to be a customisation option - but this maybe added later?).

I think there was an example match shown, but it's unlikely that would be the actual option, it may just be blank?

I think that the retrospective-EURO2020 souvenir ticket is a step in the right direction. If this is as a result of consumer demand, UEFA would be stupid to ignore further requests for customisation options.

I ordered souvenir tickets for all the games I went to the other day. You’d think for £10 a pop, they will cross check it with the same email on our ticket app and match the details accordingly. That’s what I’m hoping for anyway

Another Uefa rip off. £295 for a seat, then charge you 10 Euros plus 12 Euros postage (maybe its being hand delivered by Harry Kane ) , plus a bank charge for paying in Euros. Im sure it said you could enter your seat details when they were originally advertised.

Good question about the extra charged for a paper ticket when you booked your ticket on the Uefa website.  I ended up getting a paper copy from the Ticket Office,  wonder if I will see that 15 Euros they charged for a paper copy at the time.
