England v Italy: Christmas gift pack

England v Italy: Christmas gift pack

Posted by Team England at 12:00 on Tuesday 14 November 2017

England will face Italy on 27 March 2018 as the Three Lions’ 2018 FIFA World Cup preparations step up.

Gareth Southgate’s squad will host the Italians at Wembley Stadium connected by EE for an 8pm kick off. The fixture against one of Europe’s top opposition will provide a stiff test less than three months before the start of next summer’s showpiece in Russia.

We are pleased to also confirm that the England Christmas gift pack returns for 2017 to anyone who purchases tickets to England v Italy by 5pm on Tuesday 12th December.

This includes one Christmas card per order and guaranteed dispatch before 21st December. Additionally, each envelope will contain instructions on how to enter a competition to win a signed England shirt.

With prices starting from £20 for adults and £10 for juniors, this is an ideal gift for friends and family this Christmas.

Signed Christmas cards

All orders purchased between 12pm Wednesday 15 November and 5pm Tuesday 12 December will be dispatched with one England Christmas card containing digital signatures from a selection of the England players who took part in the October qualifiers.

500 lucky purchasers will also be selected at random to receive a hand-signed Christmas card from one England player who joined up with the squad for the October qualifiers.

Family enclosure tickets

In addition to the signed Christmas card, a Christmas colouring-in sheet will be included with each junior ticket purchased within the family enclosure. Anyone who posts a photo of a completed colouring sheet to @England Twitter or Instagram with #MyThreeLions will be in with a chance of having their tickets upgraded ahead of the Italy fixture. Fans will have until Friday 26 January to post their #MyThreeLions entries online and 2 lucky entrants will be selected at random to receive a free upgrade of their order.

Travel Club members priority sale

Travel Club members will be able to buy up to 8 tickets for themselves and other Travel Club members in the priority ESTC sale from 12pm Wednesday 15 November. Once the exclusive priority sale ends, members of both the ESTC and ESC will then be able to buy from 12pm Tuesday 21 November. The general public can access tickets from 12pm Monday 27 November.

Another child unfriendly date. Best case, you live nearby and manage to get the children home by 22:30, not great on a school night. For us, it would mean kids missing half of Tuesday and probably all of Wednesday at school due to travel. Is there any possibility of any more "out of London" fixtures? With Tottenham at Wembley this year, and Chelsea there soon as well, it can't be a money thing any more. The pitch looked ropey against Slovenia, with the wear from the American Football and Tottenham games.

I agree with David.  We went to every friendly when they were out of London.  It’s impossible to get from Manchester on a school night.

I agree we live in Carlisle so it's rail fare plus night in hotel as we can't get a train back that late at night, makes it a very expensive game for us.  Would help if they were in Manchester or Liverpool at least we can drive there and back from a game if they were at one of these venues.

It's been over 12 months since England played at Wembley on a Saturday.

I agree about the dates but can’t moan about where it’s played! Wembley is the national stadium long before Tottenham started playing there, plus it’s only till their stadium is build.. I’m from down south but I’ll happily Travel by train!
