Lithuania v England: Ballot results

Posted by Team England at 09:44 on Tuesday 25 July 2017

The ballot for tickets to the Lithuania v England match on Sunday 8 October has now been completed and emails will be sent out shortly to all who registered their interest.

We have been allocated 1757 tickets in total by the Lithuanian FA with 2802 members registering their interest. The caps cut-off was 32 to be guaranteed a ticket.

Successful applicants

You will be able to purchase your ticket from 12pm Friday 28 July until 3pm Monday 31 July. You can purchase your ticket by calling the England Supporters Club ticket line on 0844 847 2010 or via www.thefa.com/tickets.

Please be aware that group bookings are limited to a maximum of 4 members per group and each person will need to be a Travel Club member who was successful in the ballot. If you wish to be seated as a group, please book your seats in one order by providing the Travel Club fan number and dates of birth of each member of your group. We will not be able to add further seats to a booking at a later date.

If you have not received an email or wish to check your application status, click here: https://www.thefa.com/england-supporters/travel-club-tickets-matches

Unsuccessful applicants

If you still wish to attend the match but were not allocated a ticket via the ballot due to your caps level, there is a 2nd chance sale which begins at 12pm on Tuesday 1 August. Any tickets that go unclaimed in the first sale will be made available to Travel Club members on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you forgot to register your interest in a ticket for this fixture, we cannot retrospectively add you into the ballot now that it has been conducted. If you forgot to register for any reason, you will need to purchase a ticket in the 2nd chance sale.

Wheelchair accessible tickets

ESTC members who were successful in the ballot and registered for wheelchair accessible seating should call us directly on 0800 389 1966 between 12pm Friday 28 July and 3pm Monday 31 July.

Ticket prices

We have received an allocation of 43 tickets priced at £36 and 1714 tickets priced at £32.

Update: 171 tickets will be located in one block along the touchline (this includes the 43 £36 tickets and 128 tickets priced at £32). The remaining allocation of tickets will be located in the adjacent blocks behind the goal. Those who wish to sit in the small allocation along the touchline are advised to select 'Pitch View' or 'category 1' tickets when purchasing via the website or via Ticketmaster.

Wheelchair accessible tickets are £32 with the companion ticket included.

All members will be required to collect their tickets in person in Lithuania, with full collection details to follow nearer to the match.

Travel Club members are reminded that these tickets are for personal use only and are non-transferable to either members or non-members under any circumstance.

Members are also reminded that they have until 21 days before the match to cancel their ticket in writing and receive a refund. A £3 cancellation fee per ticket will be applied and we politely request that if a member is unable to attend after purchasing a ticket, to let us know as soon as possible.

Ballot information

For further details on how a ballot is conducted, please refer to this previous news story here: https://englandsupporters.thefa.com/b/news/archive/2017/01/11/estc-update-away-match-ballots-explained

We will not be operating a waiting list for this match until after both sale periods have been completed. Members who email us before the 2nd chance sale to be placed on a waiting list will not be considered; we advise those who missed out first time around to try the 2nd chance sale first.

Great job getting so many tickets :-)

Please can you tell us a bit more about the 43 £36 ones? Are they at the back/front, and why a different price for the same stand?

Hi Martin, we have been advised by the LFF that these tickets are in the first 5 rows of the stand and the price is what they have given us.

I would also like to congratulate the FA on getting such a good allocation for this match. Can you also please pass on the thanks of the England fans to the LFF. They have clearly gone the extra mile to try to accommodate as many visiting fans as possible and they ought to be told how much this is appreciated by the England fans.

Having not used the second chance sale before, is it a ballot or first come?

Steven Mason, It is first come first served with the second ballot, it may help if you don't hang about trying to get in, previously I was logged into the fa site so I could enter early into the tickets section, for some reason I didn't connect and waited after a very long time thinking I may be in a queue as an after thought I realised that if I were in a queue it would have said so, I decided to try again and connected straight away, I put it down to the high volume of people trying to get in at the earliest possible time jamming the system so hanging about may not work.Good luck.

I entered into the ballot as a group with another friend. I have had an email saying I have been successful, is this just me or the whole booking? Will both parties receive a separate email?
