Due to the short time-frame before the game, we have conducted a ballot based on our guaranteed allocation of 3000 tickets. Should we receive an additional allocation of tickets we will then conduct a further ballot, based on the same membership rules, to allocate the tickets. Please note that the ballot was conducted based on the caps totals prior to the September internationals against Spain and Switzerland. Based on the 4957 members who registered for this match, the caps cut off point for being guaranteed a ticket is 18. The ballot results will be sent out via email today, Wednesday 12 September, and available to view on your account in due course on www.thefa.com/england-supporters/travel-club-tickets-matches.As previously advised discussions are still ongoing with the RFEF to request additional tickets to meet the demand of all those members who wish to attend this match.
We expect the pricing to be confirmed as £23 per ticket for this match.
How a Ballot WorksIf an away match is oversubscribed, I.e. the number of members who have registered their interest in the game is greater than the allocation we have received, the tickets will be allocated in the following way:
70% of the ticket allocation will be offered to the ESTC members with the highest number of caps. The number of caps you will require to qualify for the top 70% of the ticket allocation will depend on: (i) the number of members at the relevant time who have applied for the match; and (ii) the size of our allocation for that game. The remaining 30% of the ticket allocation will be balloted to all remaining members who registered their interest.Successful ApplicantsYou will be able to purchase your ticket from 12pm Friday 21 September until 3pm Monday 24 September. You can purchase your ticket by calling the England Supporters Club ticket line on 0844 847 2010 or via www.thefa.com/tickets.
Please be aware that group bookings are limited to a maximum of 4 members per group and each person will need to be a Travel Club member who was successful in the ballot. If you wish to be seated as a group, please book your seats in one order. You will need to provide the Travel Club FAN number and dates of birth of each member of your group so please ensure you have these to hand before you log in or call to buy. We will not be able to add further seats to a booking at a later date.
Unsuccessful ApplicantsIf you still wish to attend the match but were not allocated a ticket via the ballot there is a 2nd chance sale which begins at 12pm on Tuesday 25 September. Any tickets that go unclaimed in the first sale will be made available to Travel Club members on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you didn’t register your interest in a ticket for this fixture, we cannot retrospectively add you into the ballot now that it has been conducted and so you will need to attempt to purchase a ticket in the 2nd chance sale.
Wheelchair Accessible TicketsWe are still awaiting final confirmation of our Wheelchair allocation and will be in contact with all those who registered for these tickets in due course regarding the potential ballot and how to purchase your tickets. We hope to have this allocation finalised by the RFEF within the next few days.
CancellationsDue to the short time before the match please be aware that no refunds will be offered for members who purchase tickets and are then unable to attend.
Sensible move, well done.
So are they email informing successfull only or unsuccessful? As I've had neither? Where as other members have had success or rejected emails?
flights booked early doors and no match ticket well iam on a jolly up then
nice birthday email
The FA Had no intention of trying to get more tickets full of sh@t
@Lee Hodgson - nonsense. They tried, and successfully did, get more tickets for multiple matches during the WC. What is your claim based on?
So does this mean the FA are still trying to get more tickets or waiting to see if they get offered more?
Gutted flights and hotel booked same thing again F.A take your money on just a glimmer of a chance of getting a ticket .Now trying to explain to son sorry son aint got tickets but can have a few days in Spain piss poor 3,000 allocation
Colin, I can understand your disappointment but try not to despair. The FA will try hard to get more tickets as they have successfully many times before. Also, keep looking at the website for details of the Second Chance Sale and make sure that you are free to call and try online when the sale is held.
P.S. Colin, the 2nd chance details are in the above article.
Ye ive seen info Martin cheers but wont hold out to much hope 8 of us going over dads and lads
If ur in a group and the lead person had a email say they have been successful dose that mean the whole group or just him
Absolutely Gutted... Flights booked, Hotel Booked, I hope there's a chance the FA can secure some extra tickets... Fingers crossed for the 2nd chance Sale.... I'm dreading telling my 7yr old he can't go to the game....
Amazing how some people on here are annoyed that they did not get tickets but only have a handful of caps (if that). It’s a fair process that enables the fans who have been over the years to get the tickets they deserve. Bring on Seville!
Lads moaning on here without realising other fans can see how many caps you've actually got. Weird bunch.
Ive got a bright idea. Dont book flights and hotels before you know if you have a ticket or not.
