Spain v England registration now closed

Posted by Team England at 15:01 on Wednesday 15 August 2018

The registration period for the Spain v England match which takes place on Monday 15 October closed at 3pm on Wednesday 15 August.

Update 28/08/2018: We are still awaiting ticket details and allocations from REFEF. As soon as we receive this information, we will let members who registered in a ticket know the outcome.

4957 Travel Club members registered their interest in a ticket for the match.  Details on our allocation, ticket prices and whether we will need to conduct a ballot will be announced in due course.  As soon as this information has been provided by the Spanish Football Federation we will inform all members via the website, email and Facebook.

For more information on how a ballot is conducted please click here.

Away Match Ticket Information

Tickets for England away matches must be collected by each individual from the host city.  Collection details are sent to all ticket holders before an away game however in order to collect your ticket, you will need to bring a form of photo ID with you.

Tickets for away matches are non-transferable and it is against membership policy to sell (or advertise to sell) any England tickets either via social media or a third party website.  The FA does not offer tickets for England away games to members of the free Supporters Club  – they are exclusively available for Travel Club members.

In the meantime it might be an idea to get the caps table updated, just in case...

I missed the deadline by minutes because the page wouldn’t load - any other way of getting a ticket!?

@ Thomas Mytton  For every away fixture there are always members who put their names on the register of interest but do not buy the tickets allocated to them. These tickets are then made available to other members in a second chance sale on a 'first come, first served' basis. We need to wait for the announcement from the FA about how many tickets we are getting. But, I would say that there is an excellent chance you will be able to get a ticket through the second chance sale.

I genuinely don’t think any FA understands that the majority of us have booked our flights and accommodation and the rest are still waiting for news of tickets. How can you let it go so close to the wire? It’s less than 7 weeks away.

I understand it’s not entirely the FA’s fault and it’s the Spanish but there must be more that they can do.

The capacity of the Seville Stadium is approx 60,000. Under uefa competition rules the minimum allocation is 5% which would mean a minimum allocation of 3000 tickets. If this is the case the Caps system would undoubtedly be invoked possibly as high as 30 caps. It will be interesting to see if Spain grant us 4500 which is what we have to give them at Wembley for the corresponding fixture??

With just under 6 weeks to go, you cannot tell me the Spanish FA don't know how many away tickets they are releasing.

I know there is 6 weeks until the game however when is this likely to be resolved regards ticket allocation and process to purchase one via ballot or if we have enough for every member who registered  does anyone at the FA know ?

The fa announced that the away tickets for Spain would go on sale to travel club members on 3rd September. I've checked the site every day since then and nothing. Now either I'm doing it wrong, or there is a hold up. Just for once it would be nice to get the feeling that they actually appreciate all the effort we put in to attend these matches, and to treat us accordingly by keeping us up to date with what's happening
