Available Semi-final tickets

Available Semi-final tickets

Posted by Team England at 20:40 on Sunday 08 July 2018

We are pleased to announce that we have secured a small number of additional tickets for Travel Club members for the Semi-Final against Croatia.

Update 1pm 11/07/2018: Unfortunately we have not been able to obtain any further tickets for tonight's match against Croatia. I appreciate that there are a number of fans still requiring tickets, however we have been advised by FIFA that more are being released on their website.

Update 12.30 10/07/18: We are now able to offer category 1 tickets to Travel Club members on 60 active caps and above until 2pm BST.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not accepting any further requests to be placed on the waiting list for the semi-final match tomorrow.

UPDATE 10/07/18: We are now pleased to be able to lower the caps level to 65 caps.

These tickets will only be offered to Travel Club members who have 65 active caps or more (originally it was 70+).  If you sit just below 65 active caps (even if by one) please do not call and attempt to purchase a ticket.  We understand it may be disappointing to be just beneath this caps level however please be aware we will be unable to offer you a ticket under any circumstance.

Travel Club members who qualify can call 0800 389 1966 on Tuesday 10th July between 10am to 12pm (Midday, UK Time).

Initial sales

The initial ticket application window for Travel Club members began back in December 2017.  Any tickets we did not sell within that ticket application window were released back to FIFA to sell via their own Ticketing Website.  Therefore, although we did not sell out our given allocation at that time, this does not mean we now have access to those seats.

Naturally we understand some members will be disappointed however, based on FIFA’s application process, all supporters were given the opportunity to purchase tickets to this match between 5th December 2017 and 31st January 2018.  We will however continue to lobby for additional tickets; we advise all members to check this website regularly for further updates.

In the meantime you may wish to keep an eye on FIFA’s Ticketing Website for any tickets that may be released there for this match. FIFA have already relisted  a number of tickets in all three categories for Wednesday's match, and we expect more to released in the coming days.

Think we all need to give it a rest. Getting a tad embarrassing.

It’s not the FA’s fault that not everyone booked (semi-)final tickets during the initial sale for whatever reason and they should not be blamed for it.

Furthermore, the FA didn’t have to try and get more tickets. They could have just turned round and said ‘you’ve had the initial ticket sale, tough.’ But they haven’t. And as the article clearly states they will continue lobbying FIFA. Just for once, we should try giving them some support and credit rather than aimlessly and quote mindlessly slagging them off. Without them we’d have no chance of any additional allocation, however small. All I ask is that they keep trying and keep us updated.

Not everyone was able to afford to commit hundreds of pounds to FIFA ahead of time for whatever reason.

To gloat at others for not booking tickets without knowing the reason for not doing so - financial constraints, etc is a bit of a sh*tty thing to do. That sh*ttiness is amplified when those gloating about ‘believing’ etc are on a relatively tiny amount of caps to some of those who look likely to miss out.

Let’s give it a rest, eh?

No, it wasn't an attempt to twist what you said...

You posted a tirade against those who couldn't take the risk and then ended up on a condescending tone about life is full of responsibility.

And I'm not woe-be-me. There are more loyal fans than me who deserve a ticket before I do (who I hope get one before I do) and anytime I have posted on this matter it has been to pull Richards like you up on your arrogance.

You can afford the thousands that allow you to take a speculative risk and with no concerns about your credit card limit? That's really wonderful and we're all happy for you... Some of us don't enjoy the same financial freedom and powers you enjoy...

    As I said, you're a Richard.

Now that EF have managed to secure some additional tickets (and at Cat 3, nonetheless), I hope some fans hold back from having a pop at the FA.

The reality is they’re at FIFA’s mercy here, and have to work with them and them alone.

I’m confident they’re doing whatever they can, and it’s no doubt a ‘fluid’ situation (putting it mildly!).

Well done EF/the FA for securing what you’ve been able to thus far, and I hope everyone manages to get one in the end.

    Mark,any relation to Kevin?

I broadly take your points on board however ESTC aren’t a benevolent charity they’re paid for by fans who in return should expect a high level of service, communication and fair level of endeavour as their part of the membership contract!

Members should be free to feedback if in their opinion any of the above is not being met, this is all subjective of course but I genuinely feel ESTC have fallen woefully short of what should be expected especially surrounding such a momentous stage of a World Cup!

The communication is awful, inadequate and the tone patronising!

The lengths ESTC have/are going to to source extra tickets isn’t being explained, there is no timetable for updates which is poor as getting arrangements in place for flights/fan ID is time sensitive!

As for not expecting a service sector of the FA ‘ESTC’ to help us get more tickets is an indictment of what low expectations we have of them based on historical experience of only being given the bare minimum of service!

    Lee.

I really do think you’ve missed my point pal?

I was not having a pop at you, or any other fan (my mate being one of them) that didn’t have the finances available to commit when the tickets were made available.

My issue is that some people are having a pop at the FA etc because there aren’t now thousands of tickets lying around that we’ve outperformed against expectation?

What realistically, in this day and age (of ‘finance is power’ to these companies) would you have expected them to do? To ensure the high cappers (rightly) receive priority, but ensure that those new members (such as me) have a chance also?

But since you seem insistent on my financial situation? A couple of things to clarify.

    1. I don’t own a credit card, never have. That doesn’t make me rich, or arrogant.

    2. I’ve always wanted to go to a World Cup. And after the euros in France (my first tournament) I saved every month for 2 years to put me in a position to do it this year.

I’ve spent the last 2 years trying to get as many caps as possible, watching some absolute dross to put me in the best possible position for this World Cup.

I’ve spent way more than my gf would have liked (time and finance) But this maybe the only opportunity I get to do it? A real once in a lifetime opportunity for me.

I’ve been called a tw*t, Insane, crazy, barmy by my gf, friends and family over the least 2 years because of my plan for Russia due to the events of Marseille and the media hype.

But if my comments have upset or offended you in any way, or have made me come across as a ‘Richard’ then I apologies fella.

But as above, I’ve been called a lot worse, so I’ll survive.

This will be my last post on the subject, regardless of what you call me.

Genuinely, Good luck with your ticket search. (again).

Come on guys. Just read through some of these posts. We’re all frustrated but don’t start having a go at each other. Team England - unity on and off the pitch. Let’s just keep trying to get tickets and fill that stadium with Georgie crosses !

"I don’t own a credit card, never have" but you still feel its fine to declare that those of us who do rely on credit here and there were idiots and lacking 'responsibility' when deciding that they wouldn't add more to their debt on the off-chance we'd get there...

I'm glad you're done and wish you hadn't started to begin with.

Arrogance and lacking empathy are not good character traits.

So for everyone moaning about not getting tickets, if you had applied for conditional tickets back when they were released they would have got them with hardly any caps. Yes you had to "lend" FIFA some money for 6 months but that's been the same for years. expecting to get a semi final ticket when we have just got there is pretty unrealistic!!

Feeling pretty bad for my son about this. Basically, back in January my wife said she didn't want me to take him to Russia given all the scaremongering in the media. Seemed fair enough really at the time, so I applied for a final ticket for myself, but not for him. He was upset about it at the time, but I told him it was all academic anyway. He's 13 and has got 49 caps, so would easily have got a conditional ticket. I have got him a (refundable) flight to Moscow for the final, but very little chance to get him a ticket now. Obviously I can't take him without a ticket, so if we get to the final and he doesn't have one by Friday lunchtime it's game over for him.

He could be missing out on the game of his lifetime because of the ridiculous media coverage and because of my mistake rather than his own.

If truth be told we have all be caught out . In all honesty who at Christmas would have thought we would be on the semi finals? And weather you have no caps or 100 caps buying a final or semi ticket just seemed a waste of time . Like the old saying goes hindsight is a wonderful thing.......

You could do the honourable thing, Daren, and give your son the ticket ;-)

All jokes aside, I totally get where you're coming from regarding the press coverage. My missus was terrified by the coverage and was only happy with the compromise that saw me travel on my first and last organised trip which I hated every second of and paid nearly £700 for the honour. I even had to sell my second round ticket because of the funding requirements to get there and back which simply weren't there.

My first World Cup trip was easily the worse trip I have had following England and it is entirely the fault of the media who set out to sensationalise the threat of Russian fans. I'm disappointed that I couldn't persuade my missus that they were talking rubbish but not at all with her because if she didn't care about me she wouldn't have been worried.

    They won't even apologise.

From my understanding is that  FIFA can't resell England's unsold allocation. For example if 3000 tickets are available for every country, in case they reach the SF. Brazil may have sold all there allocation so any unsold tickets not required by the English FA can't be sold by FIFA as part of the public allocation as they were potentially allocated to other countries.
