We are pleased to announce that the ticket window details for England v Nigeria and Costa Rica have been confirmed as below.

England will face two fellow 2018 FIFA World Cup finalists ahead of this summer’s tournament in Russia.

The Three Lions will host Nigeria at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 2 June (5.15pm kick-off) before moving north to Leeds United’s Elland Road to welcome Costa Rica on Thursday 7 June (8pm kick-off).

Both opponents will provide important tests for Gareth Southgate’s squad as they finalise preparations for group games with Tunisia, Panama and Belgium at the World Cup.

The above post contradicts itself - says the ticket sale window applies to both games, then at the bottom says the Costa Rica ticket sale dates and prices will be confirmed shortly. Which is the case....?

I would like to go to the Nigeria match with my son, who is not a Travel Club member, but I would also like to qualify for my own Travel Club member's discount. So, I must buy my tickets between 12:00 on 21st March and 15:00 on 25th March.

At 12:00 on 21st March I will be in mid-flight on my way to Amsterdam for the Netherlands match. I arrive back home at tea-time on Saturday. I suppose that still gives me a small window during which to buy my tickets. But the FA has been criticised before for having sales windows whilst fans are out of the country. Couldn't the members' priority windows have been after the Italy match ?

I often take my grandchildren to Wembley - the answer is to make sure your son is a general member i.e. the free non Travel Club member. Then when you go online into the Family area (assuming this is where you want to sit?) the web allows you to input and allocate both of you seats and if in the members window you will get you discount (but not your son). Not certain if this works elsewhere in the stadium.

Considering we have a trip to Amsterdam next week and a big one in June, I think the timing of sales starting and pricing for the Nigeria game is all wrong. Thousands of us spending thousands of pounds to go to see us in Amsterdam and Russia and the best you can do for us is £5 off for a warm-up game. Why can't the tickets be priced like the November friendlies?

    @ Steven Ocsko

Thanks, Steven, but my son is 22 and so we don't qualify for the family area. But this isn't the point. The issue is that ESTC members cannot buy their tickets in the ESTC exclusive sales window if they go to the match with non-members. They have to wait for the ESC sales window. This window runs from 2 days before until 2 days after the away fixture against the Netherlands when many ESTC members will be in Amsterdam. The FA shouldn't stipulate a sales window when Travel Club members are out of the country.

Would’ve been helpful if the sale dates fell in line with monthly pay days.. but maybe that’s my fault for being so skint ha ha

These sales dates are an absolute joke. Not thinking about the fans a all as usual. No notice, all at once, all a week before an expensive away game, all before most people's pay days. Useless man.

Home end for the Elland Road game should be the Revie Stand, not the south stand.

Does anyone know if these matches contribute to the Euro 2020 'caps'?

    @ Inderjit Bains

Yes, the caps for these matches will carry forward to the 2018-20 campaign and will count when tickets for Euro 2020 matches are allocated.
