Ticket info for World Cup qualifier against Scotland

Posted by Team England at 11:23 on Monday 05 September 2016

Ticket selling arrangements for England’s encounter with Scotland at Wembley Stadium connected by EE can now be confirmed.

The old foes renew acquaintances on Friday 11 November (7.45pm kick-off) for a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Due to overwhelming demand, tickets will initially be offered exclusively to existing members of the England Supporters Club and England Supporters Travel Club from 12pm on Tuesday 6 September through to 3pm on Monday 3 October.

During this period, sales will be prioritised to ‘top cappers’ and as a result those who signed up to the membership scheme after 10am on Friday 2 September will not be eligible to purchase tickets for this fixture.

Any further sales after Monday 3 October will be subject to availability. Ticket sales are for home supporters only. Any opposing fans, as identified by both The FA and The SFA, attempting to purchase within the home ends will not have their tickets issued and will not be entitled to a refund. Equally, any away supporters within the home ends on the evening of the match will be ejected without prejudice or refund.

Visiting supporters should visit www.scottishfa.co.uk for ticketing information.

November’s fixture will be the 112th between the near neighbours with England having the edge with 47 wins, 41 defeats and 24 draws. The most recent meeting was the 3-1 victory at Celtic Park in November 2014.

Tickets for existing members' can be bought via TheFA.com/Tickets.

I don't think this gives us enough information.  So are you saying that only top cappers can now purchase from 12pm on 6th Sept?  If so when do other members get to purchase during the priority window?

Can England Supporters Travel Club members buy tickets for non-members. I have membership but would like to go with friends that might not have membership. Is that possible, or do we all need to wait till General Sale?

Team England - why don't you actually have a priority period for all home games for the travel club?  By the time I got on to the ticketing page I was unable to get the tickets I wanted in block 109.

Exactly how have you prioritised sales to ‘top cappers’?  Could you enlighten us?

I would have thought - with travel club membership down and England having performed horrendously at the last two tournaments - you might wish to actually provide travel club members with some benefits.  We shouldn't have to scrap for tickets with thousands of others who have never been to an England game.

Also, I hope you are putting on extra stewards to assist with turfing out the Scottish fans who have bought in the home end.  I suspect there will be hundreds!
