Italy v England - Important Sale Update

Italy v England - Important Sale Update

Posted by Team England at 15:26 on Thursday 12 February 2015

We are awaiting final confirmation from the Italian FA regarding the price of tickets for our upcoming friendly at the Juventus stadium next month.

Unfortunately, as we have yet to receive this information, this now means that the planned members sale due to take place from 12 noon tomorrow (Friday 13 February) has been postponed.

A further announcement will be made ahead of the rescheduled sale date which we expect to be within the next few days.

What a shambles. Doubt the FA will be rushing to play Italy away any time after.

You wouldn't think it would be that hard to decide on a price of a ticket.

It's funny, well, not really.we can do brain surgery,we can send a rocket into space,we can work on a vaccine for Ebola.but in the eleventh hour, someone at the Italian Fa has just realised he hasn't sent an email confirming the prices of the game they agreed to months ago! Mamma Mia! This is a new low,yet another

With all the segregation and everything that goes with it, add to that the Italians especially Juve supporters also wanting a bit of a ruck it seems ridiculous that this ticket farce has dragged on so long. If it was all sorted and announced 4/6 weeks ago then we would all know whether we were going or not if we had a ticket etc. Some would have dropped out and others would have failed in ballot and not  bothered getting flights/accommodation etc.....but now most have taken the plunge and booked everything up on the hope of getting a ticket, and if unsuccessful now will still go anyway ticketless and perhaps try to get in home end...It seems that the Italian FA are actually trying to cause problems by having people ticketless people there, and if that happens and any trouble kicks off, we all know 100% who the media and UEFA/FIFA will blame!!

The FA just gets worse and worse - late notification and a pathetic allocation where the ground will only be half full. Sort it out and think of the poor fans sometimes. Heard we refused an extra 1000 tickets - why????

You can't blame our FA and your can't be surprised that the Italians haven't sorted it all out yet. There's still 6 weeks to go so no need to panic

Been following England away for 10 years and now finally had it with this fa. Another story, another blatant disregard for the fans. Miserly ticket allocation, useless communication (no more emails, except to sell you junk and big up the wembley "experience"). £75, for the privilege of keeping cocksure snobs in employment?  You're having a laugh. See you in France via the FIFA sale, says a lot when they run a better ship than the fa!
