Royally shafted again, why couldn't we have been told how many had registered straight after the registration period had closed?

Any chance of telling us which Cap levels are successful without the ballot?  Being on 24 Caps means that, if everybody at or above my level has applied, I'll be in the ballot.

However why the wait until 13th Feb (10 days) before ticket sales start and then a further 4 days for the 2nd chance ticket allocation, all the time people want to know whether to make their travel plans?

Disgrace that we have not managed to secure 2900 tickets to satisfy everyone that wanted one and the second chance sale should surely be only for those who registered but missed out the ballot first and then those who didn't register but now want to go?

I agree Peter why should those that didn't express an interest previously be allowed into 2nd ballot?

Once again the FA shaft the fans by failing to secure enough tickets. The ground will be half-full. Unsure how they will justify employing all those staff when nobody renews after WC 2016

I'd hazard a guess that the FA will now say it will be collect only for tickets as they haven't sufficient time to post them.

Total bollocks how could we not have got an additional 800, i doubt that they'd refuse seeing as though we'll pay twice the price of a ticket in the home end again!

Can we have the reasoning behind failing to secure the demand amount? There can be no justification from the Italian FA suspecting a sell out, can there? Recent attendances wouldn't promote that, failing to sell out versus Netherlands and Croatia. As stated above, away end holds more than 2.1k. A 5% allocation of a 41,000 seater stadium seems odd.

Was this the reasoning behind the delay? The FA battling hard, and failing, to secure those extra 800 tickets?

very new to the England travel club so i have been pretty naive about sorting tickets.

i managed to get myself into the ballot but didn't register my girlfriend in time and we've booked the trip, expecting there to be plenty of tickets available for us both to get one.

seems like it's unlikely to go to a second chance sale, so either i'll be leaving her outside the ground (haha) or not attending the match.

Scott I can guarantee you will not be involved in first ballot (3 caps) but will both be able to apply in 2nd chance allocation, in future please register your g/f as even if you do not want to take up the opportunity it will mean a larger number of tickets going to the 2nd sale. Wouldn't it be poetic justice for her to leave you outside ;o)?

As a new member it doesn't seem I have any chance of getting a ticket with everything already booked
