Kevin you have as much chance as anyone in the 2nd sale caps don't count there. There will be approx 1430 people vying for 630 tickets.

so assuming its still 70/20/10, 70% is 1469

theres last i checked 1488 travel club with 24 caps and above

guessing atleast 19 of the 1488 may not have applied so congratulations (in best sergei meerkat voice) to the 24caps and above.

good luck to the rest of us

Perhaps the FA could answer this: Why can you not secure 2900 tickets for your members in a stadium that holds 41000, yet you can allocate 'away fans' up to 20000 tickets in your own stadium that holds 90000? And why do you allow 'away' supporters in the home section of your stadium regularly (Ghana, Ireland, Scotland & Poland for example)

There is no mention of a 70/20/10 ballot for this game is there? Isn't that just for the euros tournament? The most difficult pill to swallow is not giving those none-successful balloters the first priority. Disappointing.

70% of 2099 is 1469 leaving 630 tickets to be balloted between 1431(isn) if not in the top 70% you have about a 44% chance in the ballot otherwise may be a few in 2nd chance sale. On 22 caps so am crossing fingers for the ballot

Matt's about right. 70% of 2099 is 1469. There's actually 1505 on 24 caps and above (including myself), according to the current caps table. By my calculations, if there's over 36 people who are currently on 24 caps or above who have not registered (which is highly likely, there's 3 out of our group of 8 who have more caps and have not registered), then everyone on 24 caps or above will be allocated a ticket.

Gutted, would be nice to know what attempts have been made to secure everyone a ticket and what reasoning have the Italian FA provided in not being able to meet that request? For a £75 membership it'd be nice if we could have these recurring questions answered. I'm on 5 so highly likely i'll be in the draw.

To be fair,  stadium holds 41,000. Italy have to make at least 5% available to away team,  which is 2,050 tickets.  So we have been allocated slightly more than the minimum required.

Our FA may have their hands tied here!

If that's the case then fair enough, just think it'd be nice if they came out and said 'we asked for numbers to cover everyone' but this wasn't possible because the Italian FA said '.......'

Team England - Can you please explain why you didn't negotiate 3000 tickets in a ground that holds 41,000?
