EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Why is the England match the only one not on the UEFA Portal

All the other games for the 28th and 29th are on the portal but not the England game.

If it is sold out say so.

If it isn’t sold old put the tickets on.

Ridiculous messing people about. No need for it.

England are the only team who are playing their R16 match in their own country. Demand is bound to be high. The fans of other teams are having to cross international borders with the problems of coronavirus entry restrictions so there are going to be fewer fans who can actually get to their games. That will be why other matches are still for sale but not England's match.

Whether it is sold out is a tricky question. UEFA probably did sell all of the tickets which were put on sale yesterday morning. But there may still be the odd ticket that appears from time to time in the ticket sale portal. These tickets could be from corporate sponsors who don't want their full allocation. Or they could be tickets which have been cancelled by UEFA because the ticket holder broke the T&Cs : buying through ESTC when they already have one through UEFA, giving their access code to someone else, putting their ticket on eBay, etc
