EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Mobile Phone Ticket App

The app appears to be in the Google Play store for those with Android phones. Presumably there is also a version in the iPhone store.

I had an email this morning from UEFA, which included this information:

"You will receive an email with instructions about how to download the official mobile tickets app.
    IMPORTANT:
If you download the app before receiving your download invite e-mail, your tickets will not be visible in the app. If you wish to see your valid tickets, you can log into your UEFA ticketing account."

    In reply to Richard Williams:

That's a very good point, Richard. The app does say that there are no tickets associated with that (my) email address. This might spook some people into thinking something has gone wrong. If you download the app now, no tickets will appear in it until UEFA send them a few days before the tournament. However, you can register your personal details and explore what the app looks like.

They'll definitely be a different app. It has to be if you think if we progressto Rome, Copenhagen etc

No need to delete your Wembley one, but it won't be of any use for the Euros.

Having said that if memory storage is causing you performance issues on your phone deleting rarely used apps (like the Wembley one which we won't be needing for some months) won't do it any harm!

    In reply to Paul Kimberley:

It will be a different app for the Euro 2020 tournament. It is a clone of the Wembley app and it will look and work the same way but it's just a different colour and has a different logo.

You can have both apps on your phone. I've kept the Wembley app on my phone but not on the home screen.

I don't know whether the FA will ever use the Wembley app again. I doubt whether the FA has a contract with SecuTix to provide ticketing services. Even though the Wembley app was used for the Montenegro match, it was to test the system on behalf of UEFA and I think that the data processing all went via the UEFA computer system which will have been loaded with the software. If the FA ever do use the app again, I'm sure it will be available to be downloaded again from the relevant app store.
