UEFA EURO 2020

GROUP ID - LINKING ORDERS

Any-one figured out how to create a group ID yet and how to link to other orders? Been looking but it's got me stumped.

I couldn't see there was a way in the UEFA ESTC reballot.

Reports on the ESTC FB page that some had done it but, if there was a way, it escaped me.

Sure I saw the option of "sit with friends" or similar wording when I was buying and assume you needed their ticket code to do this and this "might" generate a group ID ? (but never took the option, so did not find out !)

    In reply to Timothy Roberts:

Yeah I have linked my ticket to a friends. View the ticket order summary and you should see a 'Seat with' box which allows you to put another order number in.
This option doesn't appear to populate on the mobile site so log in using a laptop or desktop computer.

Once the tickets are ordered and you get confirmation email, there is a link to log onto your UEFA ticket portal, log in and scroll to the bottom and there is a box you can add friends ID.

This is a random question, but thought I’d ask it as it relates to me.

My mate got a ticket in the first ballot, myself in the second ballot. We are both category 3. Can I link my ticket to sit with or near him?

Let me know if you sort this. If not I’m not that fussed, I’ll bore someone else in the ground

We're going to put mates order number on my application and mine on his.

Assuming he remembers to buy ticket and it's possible!

Matthew I did this today when I booked my Croatia ticket and I should be sat with my mate now. Hope you have managed it as well.

    Yep all good here.

The fact it displays the initials of one of the members of the group you're linking with is a great sense check too.

Does this still only apply if your friend is in the same category as you? Or can you now add friends in different categories? Thanks all, enjoy the Euros..

    In reply to Daniel Waskett:

I can't answer that. Ours are the same category.

I guess you've got three questions on linking different categories:

Should we be trying to do this?
Will the IT allow this initial linking?
Whether you'll actually be linked at ticket distribution?

Thanks for the response Matt, I think we will probably not take the risk, and see whether we can just sort it when we are in the stadium. Not sure I want to put my faith in the IT.

Bidding to become the first European team to win a World Cup in South America, Germany have become red hot favourites. How could it be otherwise after that semi-final performance? Germany disposed of hosts Brazil with embarrassing, astonishing ease. The match was effectively over by the half-hour mark – and they have had an extra day’s rest compared with Argentina, who had to go the full 120 minutes before...

blogs: Natalie Sawyer: Summer move a springboard for Shaw

There have been a number of high-profile moves for England players this summer but I don’t think there will be many more – someone like Ross Barkley will be better served staying with Everton and backing up his fantastic first season. Ross is such a talent and I think if he is nurtured the right way he can certainly go on to be a great player. It’s probably easier for a club like Liverpool to hold...
