Thanks for the update. Appreciate that you're operating a bit blind and can only tell us so much, so this is a helpful update.

    Great thanks for this.

I've had a look and can't seem to find an answer I'm looking for... I paid for my tickets on a Credit Card that i no longer have and the account is closed! with tickets being purchased being refunded soon how can i change the details to get it paid into the correct account? I've even looked on the UEFA website but cant seem to find any answers on there! Sorry if this has already been asked! I've looked but can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.

    In reply to Richard Wiggett:

I'm in the same boat and I'm sure UEFA have stated they will refund to the original cards. In our situation this won't be possible and UEFA''s attempt to credit those cards will be bounced. They will then contact us for us to advise them which account we wish to have credited. Presumably a bank account

This sounds sensible but in the mean time is it worth entering your bank details here:

As you know that the refund to your card will fail, I wonder whether it is worth telling UEFA in advance to send your refund to your bank account. Their normal stance is that they don't want people to be able to choose this method of refund if refund to the payment card is possible. Apart from any legal aspects, it's administratively more cumbersome for them, possibly requiring manual intervention. So they might insist on trying to refund to your card first.

Thanks, Matthew, for the link to the UEFA account profile update page where you can enter your bank details.

Last year, I had flight refunds to a payment card account which had been closed and which was not issued by the same provider as my bank account. The card account was able to accept the refunds. I contacted them and they transferred the balance to my bank account with no problems and taking only a few days. It helps if you still have the log in ID and password for the closed account so that you can monitor it for any incoming refunds.

Please excuse my ignorance if I've missed it , but does anybody have any idea on what format the ballot will be conducted , ie your standard names out of a hat or the top 70% top cappers / 30% random model used by England Fans for away games ?

Will be the 70/20/10 model that The FA always use.
