You don't apply. Certainly for the group games it's only existing ticket holders who did not surrender their tickets.

When the new ballot takes place, is it only a ballot for those the were already successful in the original ballot? Or is it now open to everyone again?
Its a shambles if you've decided on the latter here. I had 'follow England tickets' for every home Wembley game all the way to the possible final. Now I have to go back into a ballot where I'd potentially get nothing? Despite not returning my tickets early, staying the course and holding my tickets, and you / Uefa holding my money for 2 years?

Its like saying, congrats you won the lottery, but now we're gonna do another draw to make sure those that have brought the most amount of tickets get another go at it.

I am more than happy to go into a ballot with those that like me have held onto their tickets all this time. Then any left over allocation should be given through another ballot.

    From the FA News Bulletin

Ballots will be conducted based on the ticket holders who did not choose to return their tickets to UEFA.  However, should England progress to the Round of 16 and or Quarter Finals, we will conduct the ballots for these matches with all members who were originally successful for tickets, regardless of whether they returned them or not, due to the ambiguity over venues, travel restrictions and ticket refunds

Yeah, I'd be keen on an answer to this too. Absolute nonsense if that is the case.

This is the bit that I find interesting, why change the methodology for completing the ballot for different stages? Surely it should be the same for all games. You could make the argument that the group stage, semi & final tickets were also uncertain, especially in the first refund window there was no certainty that fans would be allowed at all.

    It's not.

    Read the ESTC teams update!

Can I suggest people re-read the ESTC article?

It's pretty decent and hasn't just been thrown together. There's clearly been lots of work in it.

It answers, at least, three of the question on this thread from members.

    I'm off to wash up.

Am fairly resigned to not being in the top 70%, so turning my attention to the 20% chances, but the 70/20/10 rules that the FA link points to (section 6.3) gives details of how this will be applied to Qatar2022 not the Euros.
In particular it says that the ballot for the 20% will be for members who attended 2 away matches and 4 home matches in the forthcoming 2020-2022 membership period.

Can anyone confirm the rules for this Euros ballot to be in the 20% - will the need be to have attended 2 away matches and 4 home in the 2018-2020 membership period (of which there were only 5 away matches possible to attend), or will it align to attending this number of matches over the longer two membership 2016-2020 period that the caps total is also collated over?

    Cheers

Read this bit below. I hope this will help you.

Ballot results will then be emailed to each individual member. Members will be allocated a unique access code for each match they have been successful for. This code will only allow you to purchase a ticket within the category specified in your email For the avoidance of doubt each member will now be treated as an individual applicant. You can still book in groups with other successful applicants, in the same category, and you can still link applications post re-sale

To be in the 20% I'm almost certain you will need to have attended 4 home and 2 away in the 2018-20 period

Thanks...... with only 1 away match, it looks like I'm doomed to the 10% ballot of circa 9000 members into 300 tickets!

I reckon anyone who does fall in to the 20% ballot has an almost guaranteed chance - 600 tickets per group match on offer in the ballot for those attending 2 away and 4 home matches - can't imagine there are too many members with that record who aren't already covered by the 70% for top cappers, especially considering the relative lack of any 'easy' away matches in that period!
