All via ESTC for England games...all Cat 3 and Fans First.,, Total paid €455 plus €15 for 'souvenir tickets'....just over £400. I would probably come out winning on exchange rates if I cashed in. Still got 10 days to decide. And lets not forget that tickets for the knock out stages have been sold more than once, to various country supporters.

Keep the final ticket..cash in the rest..no brainer..we will either not be allowed into a country by whoever is deemed to be host or banned from travelling by our country..let’s be honest it ain’t going ahead in ours.

I'm thinking of cashing in at least the R2 and Quarter Final games, will make a rational decision next week.
Events in the summer are being dropped every day so can't see much hope of fans being able to travel en masse to large sporting events in 5 months time.

    In reply to David Deighton:

David... there’s too many unknowns to make rational decisions at this time so as stated my process is based solely on economics.
I’m happy to gamble the early rounds against getting the semi and final back if we don’t progress. I’d rather have an opportunity to attend somewhere than none at all.
If I lose out I guess I’ll have to take the hit (x 2 in my case) :(

A couple of things that could be construed as positives, the FA are proceeding with a recruitment drive for Stewards/Venue access roles for Euro 2020,and more mass vaccination sites have been announced!
There would be a massive amount of political kudos for Johnson if somehow he can exceed the 2M vaccinations per week, and get crowds of at least 50% at Wembley, there is the prospect of England doing well a really lifting the mood of the nation!

That’s a great point...If the games scheduled for Wembley are moved, it won’t look good for Boris....I’m pretty sure that with Brexit he’ll be keen to showcase Britain to the rest of the world (Europe at least), and what better way to do it than being in a position to have at least some fans in Wembley. By moving the Wembley games to another country will imply that ‘another country’ is better than us and Boris won’t like that!

100%,Government are desperate to laud any possible good news, the production of the Oxford vaccine, the approval and head start in vaccinating citizens quicker than most!
Even though covid cases/deaths have reached new peaks, there has been no leaked chatter to suggest a Premier League lockdown is in the pipeline, any overrun of our domestic season would threaten the tournament and our staging of matches!
This is a European Competition, and the optics and plaudits for Johnson, the opportunity to shine after a questionable year,is there for the taking, you also know Johnson is the type of guy who would love to say he saved the tournament,I wouldn’t rule out him making a personal pitch for it in its entirety if we can get on top of the virus and accelerate vaccinations!
What goes in our favour to stage the tournament in these circumstances are,due to the cosmopolitan make up of all our cities, all of the European countries participating will have a fanbase resident here, even with a 50% or 75% capacity(hopefully 100%) these games would have atmosphere which no other Country could replicate, achieved without any influx of overseas fans!
Obviously it’s unlikely to be this straightforward, but Government/FA should offer this to UEFA as a scenario to consider on March 5,I’ll gladly pitch it for them,I don’t foresee being able to drive my cab by March,so I’m available!
