UEFA EURO 2020

EURO 2020 FAQ page

Many of the calls and emails the England Supporters Club is receiving from members can be answered by our EURO 2020 FAQ page.

Please refer to this page in the first instance before calling or emailing for assistance. We are experiencing a very high call and email volume; to help us assist you please read all the information we've provided on the website.

In addition, NO access codes have been sent to members yet - these will be sent either later tonight before the ticket portal opens tomorrow. If you join the Travel Club after 5pm today, you'll be sent your access code on the 9th December.

Tickets are NOT allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and ONLY lead applicant needs an access code and an account on the UEFA's website.

Further information regarding ticket applications, including category splits will be published in due course.

The FAQs and the application completion instructions are both excellent pieces of work by the ESTC staff.

If you can't spot the answer to your query in these documents then you might like to post a question on this forum before contacting ESTC. There are plenty of people who are willing to help. The ESTC staff are going to be working like blue-tailed flies over the next few weeks : processing new members and getting them access codes, conducting ballots and liaising with UEFA. Anything which we, as a community of fans, can do to ease the burden on the ESTC staff should be tried.

Really, you should only need to contact them if you are having problems accessing the ticket application system.

Why are the Fans First tickets 310 euros less for a Category3 ticket? Are the high cappers here not Fans First? Please enlighten us.

Access codes are being sent to Travel Club members tonight. PLEASE read and follow all the instructions included in the email (a copy is also below).

Only the lead applicant needs to use the access code on the UEFA website. Junior members do not need an access code or their own account on the UEFA website.

Do not share your access code with anyone because once it has been used, you will not be able to apply for tickets using the same code.If an access code is shared with anyone else, those tickets will be cancelled.

Important: If you attempt to submit your application early using your access code. Your application will NOT be counted. The UEFA ticket portal opens at 10am tomorrow morning.

Members are reminded again that tickets are not issued on a first-come-first-served basis so it's not essential to submit your application tomorrow.

Further to this, 120 Travel Club members have submitted invalid email addresses on their accounts so will not receive the access code. The email is sent from the address: thefa@service.thefa.com

If you have a Hotmail or Outlook account and do not receive it straight away, please check your junk box or add it to your contact list.

The email address above is NOT a monitored inbox so please do not email queries to this account.

I'm concerned about my email address now. I had emails confirming I am a member of the Travel Club, and one today about the FA QandA page but just looked on my profile and it has a "public email " which was blank. Is that something different ?   On my profile and its okay , and shows as verified, so hopefully the public email is something different... phew  !

Hi Matthew. I dont know which matches your referring to, but on the official Uefa website, the Category 3 tickets for the Group games are only 50 Euros (£42) , 75 for Round of 16 . But yes, the Category 3 tickets for the Final are a very expensive 290 Euros compared to the fans first which are a more reasonable 95 euros.

Don’t ask me where because I cannot remember but somewhere it was stated that ‘fans first’ tickets will be available to ESTC members for the semis and the final.

I'm not sure where you're looking, if you're seeing a field labelled "public email".

Click on your name at the top right of this page. At the bottom right of the next page, click on "My account e.g. address". The next page shows all of your contact details including the email address you have registered with the supporters club. That is the email address to which your access code would have been sent.

I cannot edit my earlier post but:

‘Continuing the UEFA EURO 2020 Fans First ticket strategy launched in May 2019, supporters of all qualified sides can apply for Fans First tickets for the semi-finals and final, priced at just €85 and €95 respectively. Fans First tickets will be sold as conditional tickets, with supporters being reimbursed if their team is knocked out before the semi-final or final.’

Hi, group of us looking to apply for tickets together. We're split on 24, 20, 12 and 2 caps. If we all apply together will the person on 2 caps harm the others chances of getting tickets if we all apply in a group or is everyone done individually and then everyone who is successful gets put back together at the end? I've seen people say different things on the forum before some saying groups can be partially successful and some saying if one fails everyone fails. Thanks.

    In reply to George Painter:

Individuals ARE treated separately in the 70% but the problems you have is:

That you will probably have to apply for cat 1s/cat 2s for the 2 capper to stand any chance at all, as all group members select the same ticket cats. This obviously makes the tickets very expensive for all group members.

That even then, only three or even two members may be successful (and stuck with very expensive tickets).

Hopefully we get a break down of ticket cats (the number in each), later in the application window, so that this may guide you into whether applying in two (or even three) separate groups would be better. And then referencing each others group in each others applications to 'group the groups'.

We have received a number of emails overnight from members who have not included any of this information, which means we will not be able to resolve their query quickly due to the requirement for additional information.

Hi Matthew, me and my son have 4 caps so obviously will be in the 30% ballot. I was planning to apply for Cat 3 / Cat 2. Do you think this would leave me a very slim chance of securing any tickets?
