Had to book flights from outside the ground in Volgograd. Thanks for this, again, magnificent timing to your paying members.

A little harsh, Anders-Paul.  Not much Tha FA can do about their Spanish counterparts' timing of announcement...

You didn't have to book your flights "while outside the ground in Volgograd" or even mention your location. But you did. What's the rush?? Game is in 4 months.

It doesn’t matter when the game is, flights go up in price instantly. Therefore you have to book asap to get the best price. Agreeing the location will have been done weeks ago, a release date for the info will have been agreed and they chose the day we play in Volgograd. What was up with last Friday?

Lovely, flights and hotel booked. In case it helps others for us it was much cheaper to book flights to Madrid (£55 RTN) and then get a train to and from Seville.

Not only save a fair chunk but also spend a night in Madrid + their train service is fast, clean and good experience.

There's no 'agreeing the location' or a release date, Anders-Paul.  The Spanish FA decide (granted, from a list of "possibles" that they'd already supplied to -and presumably had Oked, by- UEFA) and that's that.  Our FA are guilty of a lot of things, but blaming them for things that are completely beyond their control is actually quite counterproductive in the fight towards holding them accountable for things they CAN control.
