World Cup ticket applications now open

Posted by Team England at 10:40 on Tuesday 05 December 2017

Applications to attend England matches at 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ are now open and will close on Wednesday 31 January 2018.

Travel Club members who wish to apply for tickets can do so by visiting www.fifa.com/tickets with their Travel Club fan number and opening an account using their personal details. Once you've created an account you then visit your 'My Requests' page to be placed into a queue which will then enter you into the application portal.

Please note: If you are planning to attend as a group, only the lead applicant needs to create an account but they can then submit the details of the other members in the group under one application.

The lead applicant will need to confirm their country of residence, nationality and if they are a recognised suppporter of a team (select England for England specific matches).

Once you are in the FIFA ticketing portal you have the option to select 'Supporter Tickets' (these are specific to England), 'Individual Match Tickets (for non-England games) and 'Venue Specific Tickets' (if you want to select one particular stadium). You then select whichever matches you require from the relevant drop-down and add them to your basket so that all requests are kept under one Request ID.

When you have completed your selection, you will be asked to fill in your delivery details and the personal details of the other ticket holders. For England specific matches you must enter a valid Travel Club fan number for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th members in order to proceed with the booking. The final stage of the application is submitting your payment card details which must have an expiry date of after August 2018. Once you have completed your application you will be given a Request ID and a copy of your request can be sent to your email address or printed off.

Further information

Tickets are not available on a first-come-first served basis but we do encourage members to complete their applications by Monday 15 January to allow us and FIFA time to assist with any queries you may have before the window closes.

FIFA have advised that if you are successfully allocated tickets, they will send you an email in February to let you know and provide the approximate date they will attempt to take payment.

We recommend that Travel Club members refer to the World Cup FAQ page we have created for further information on submitting applications for England tickets.

If you require Wheelchair accessible seating, you must select the 'Special Access Tickets' option when entering your application details after you've made your match selection. Fans who apply for Special Access Tickets are required to provide proof of eligibility documents.

For further information we suggest fans visit www.fifa.com/tickets

Who are England playing?

England are in Group G alongside Belgium, Tunisia and Panama. The Three Lions will kick-off their World Cup campaign against Tunisia on Monday 18 June before facing Panama on Sunday 24 June in Nizhny Novgorod. The group stage concludes with Belgium in Kaliningrad on Thursday 28 June.

Our Official Travel Partner Gullivers Sports Travel will be on sale shortly with official packages to support the team in Russia next year. To make sure you’re on the registration list to be first to hear when they’re available click here

Not a Travel Club member?

If you are not a member of the Travel Club and wish to apply for tickets, you will need to upgrade to the Travel Club here  in order to submit your application before the 31 January. The Travel Club membership is £30 and expires after the World Cup in 2018. Once you have upgraded to the Travel Club, please allow 72hrs before submitting your application on the FIFA website.

Is there no option to submit individual applications (meaning you can pay individually), and link together with a group ID to ensure tickets seated together, as has happened previously?

You should not be advocating new members at this late stage as these new 'members' will have the same opportunity in any ballot as others who have travelled in the last 2yrs.
