England qualify for 2018 World Cup

Posted by Team England at 16:41 on Wednesday 04 October 2017

England’s win against Slovenia at Wembley stadium has successfully secured the team’s place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™.

Harry Kane's 94th minute winner guaranteed England's place in the final of competition. The draw for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ will be made on Friday 1 December with ticket applications for England’s matches starting on Tuesday 5 December until Wednesday 31 January 2018.

2016-2018 Travel Club members will be able to submit their applications for England match tickets during this window. FIFA have advised that fans applying for tickets will be restricted to a total number of 7 matches throughout the whole tournament. This number includes any applications they make via the current FIFA General Public sale and/or any application made via The Travel Club for England games, see here for further details

Further information regarding applications for the World Cup will be announced in the coming weeks.

The only way to get tickets in the official England allocation at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ is through the England Supporters Travel Club. England set to face Germany and Brazil at Wembley

If you’re keen to follow England in Russia for the World Cup then the upcoming fixtures at Wembley against Germany on Friday 10 November and Brazil on Tuesday14 November will provide the perfect opportunity to show your support and build up your caps.

Building your caps before the ticket applications open will help your World Cup ticket applications should any of England’s matches be oversubscribed. In the event that our ticket allocation for a particular match is oversubscribed, no tickets will be allocated to members who have not attended a single game during this membership period.

2016-2018 Travel Club members can purchase tickets for both friendlies during the priority members sale from 12pm Friday 6 October until 3pm on Thursday 12 October. As a thank you for your support during the campaign, we are pleased to offer tickets priced at £20 (across all categories) during the priority sale for the Brazil match to all Travel Club members.

For more information about either match and to purchase tickets when the sale starts on Friday, please visit https://ticketing.thefa.com/ or call 0844 847 2010.
