The England Supporters Travel Club needs you!

Posted by Team England at 15:53 on Thursday 07 September 2017

Update 21st September:

We have now received a sufficient number of applications for the ESTC Fan Forum and will be contacting those who have successfully been chosen to take part by the end of the week. The website will be updated with the questions and answers raised from the forum in due course.

We are looking for 10 Travel Club members who attend England matches both home and away to help us form a ‘fan group’ to provide feedback on the current membership.

We would like to hold a forum to discuss any current issues that the members wish to raise on behalf of the wider membership base. The meeting will also provide participants with the opportunity to suggest any changes or proposals for the next membership scheme which is due to start in July 2018.

If you are interested in being a part of this fan group, please email your details to englandsupportersclub@thefa.com together with a short description of any topics you wish to discuss.

The date and location of the ‘fan group’ meeting will be based on the respondents location.

Please be aware that this forum is only open to current Travel Club members over the age of 18.

While I agree with those saying it would be nice to play on a Saturday, unfortunately this is beyond the FA's remit, and id down to the money grabbing TV schedules that UEFA/FIFA impose on the national FA's.

I read in today's paper that there are going to be extra large seats available for the games in Russia for overweight fans. What's the point in that, they all stand up anyway. It would me more helpful if they were to provide seats for ambulant disabled fans, who can't stand up for the whole game, where no-one can stand up in front of them. Wheelchair users are usually quite well catered for but ambulant disabled are not. Ironically, this is one thing they have got well organised at Wembley.

So the above statement was misleading then.... I didn't apply because I'm in Plymouth and there's no way it will be down here and now I'm told it's at Wembley before the Slovenia game. Absolute pants!
