Posted by Team England at 15:06 on Wednesday 06 September 2017

Caps for the recent Malta v England match have now been updated.

Caps for the England v Slovakia match will be completed by Tuesday 12 September.

Club Wembley members with ESC/ESTC accounts will have their caps updated by the end of the week. We are currently awaiting gate data from Club Wembley.

Caps FAQs

Q. How do I view my number of caps?
Log in and you will see the number of caps next to your profile.

Q. Why are my caps not showing up?
After you have renewed your membership or attended a game, it takes up to 48 hours for your caps to be updated. For members who are renewing, your caps earned during the 2014-2016 period will be carried over to the new England Supporters Travel Club membership so you may see a different number of caps appearing on your profile.

Q. How are caps allocated?
A. Caps are allocated based on attendance. For home games two caps will be added automatically in the days after the ticket is used at the turnstile. For our away fixtures you’ll receive two caps for attending a match, which will be added in the days following the game - away caps will not be added for non-attendance under any circumstances.

Q. I purchased a ticket in the general sale – can I still claim my caps?
A. If you purchase tickets in the general sale before the fixture please contact us and we can add your membership number to the order so that caps will be automatically added. If the game has passed you will be required to send an email to englandsupportersclub@thefa.com no later than 21 days after the fixture.  Please include your FAN number, order number or ticket number, and an image of the ticket if possible.

Q. How are tickets allocated to World Cup 2018 (assuming England qualify)?
A. If supply exceeds demand, then all Travel Club members will receive what they applied for. If demand exceeds supply or a certain price category is oversubscribed then it will become necessary to run a ballot based on the caps system.

Q. What happens if an away game is oversubscribed (excluding tournament matches)?
A. If an away game is oversubscribed tickets will be allocated using the members caps system to all Travel Club members who registered their interest. For detailed information on this please see the club rules on away ticket allocation.

Q. Is proof of travel required for an away game?
A. For all games that England Supporters Club administer, proof of travel will not be required unless stated otherwise on our website.

Q. How often are tickets to England away games and tournaments oversubscribed?
A. During the last qualifying campaign which ran between 2014-2016, The FA were oversubscribed for four out of England’s ten away fixtures.
