Malta v England: registration reminder

Posted by Team England at 15:21 on Thursday 06 April 2017

We expect to receive enough tickets to cover the demand for tickets to this match but we would like to encourage members who are interested in attending the game to register their interest before the deadline of Tuesday 18 April.

To register click the link here: https://www.thefa.com/england-supporters/travel-club-tickets-matches

Members can register in a maximum group size of 4 by selecting the ‘(+) add another member’ button once they have submitted their own details.

Members of the free England Supporters Club who wish to attend the match can upgrade their membership now by clicking the link here (https://englandsupporters.thefa.com/p/england-supporters-travel-club) and then follow the registration process before the 18 April in order to stand an excellent chance of being allocated a ticket.

Ticket prices and sale dates will be announced in the weeks following the closure of the registration period.

How confident are you that we will receive enough tickets to cover total memebership as it stands?

Hello 60643083 - If I remember correctly registration was mentioned within an email containing other information as well and mentioned in a later email - have you contacted the England supporters club on their free 0800 389 1966 telephone line using a land line.- Sometimes my FA emails end up in the spam folder why I don't know.

I made a mistake for the France game in June missing the tickets going on sale because I had a doctors appointment and football was taking second place in my thoughts at that time, like you I had made all other arrangements so I telephoned the above and as usual when dealing with problems they were very helpful, I am sure if they can they will treat you with the same courtesy they have with me over the years following England.

My Malta problem is flights and accommodation, because I follow England alone I get hit with singles supplements, for Malta i was going to book with Sport Options but with them that is £240 extra.making the trip cost just over £800. If I fail to secure reasonable accommodation I could be declining my ticket offer. I would expect others to do the same SO WHEN/IF you phone the FA and you don't get the response you hoped for ask if you can go on a waiting list, they did it for me about a year ago and sent me an email when they said a ticket was available providing I claimed it before 3 o'clock the next day, just a case of checking your emails.

    Good luck

    Ivor

60643083 - I don't know if you have seen but they've secured enough tickets to meet demand (4202) there will be 300/400 who do not wish to take up on their tickets so you should easily get one in the second chance sale just like you still can with France weeks after the sales period.
