England Supporters Club members enjoy prize at St. George's Park

Posted by Team England at 11:08 on Wednesday 23 November 2016

Last week, 8 lucky England Supporters Club members came to St. George's Park to enjoy a competition prize of a Futsal Experience and Hydrotherapy session.

The winners were treated to a brilliant coaching session by Chas, a licensed Futsal coach at St. George's Park, and were taught the benefits of playing Futsal with it's heavier ball and smaller close-quarters pitch size.

After a Tour of St. George's Park and lunch all catered for, the winners were treated to a very special Hydrotherapy session at the state-of-the-art Perform Suite, which uses the latest aquatic therapies and equipment to assist athletes, sports teams and private clients with rehabilitation and recovery from exercise.

The suite is also used for aquatic physiotherapy which can help relieve pain, promote relaxation, mobilise joints, strengthen muscles, develop balance and co-ordination and improve general fitness.

The winners had access to:

Hydroworx Underwater Treadmill - used to assist with rehabilitation from injury by reducing bodyweight and pressure on joints. It also comes with video analysis to help correct movement patterns
Contrast Bathing Pools - the hot and cold bathing pools can be used to aid in muscle repair and to increase recovery time after intense training
Moveable Depth Pool - controllable water depth, temperature and buoyancy levels to create an advanced training environment. The entire pool floor is fully height-adjustable to allow for safe entry to the water with no steps or ladders

Look out for more England Supporters Club competitions in the lead up to Christmas!
