England to end 2016-17 season with trip to face France

Posted by Team England at 11:00 on Wednesday 14 September 2016

England will round off their 2016-17 schedule with a friendly against France in Saint-Denis.

The Three Lions will travel to the Stade de France on Tuesday 13 June 2017, with the game getting under way at 9pm local time (8pm BST).

The game comes three days after the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Scotland at Hampden Park on Saturday 10 June.

This will be the first meeting between England and France since November 2015, when goals from Wayne Rooney and Dele Alli secured a 2-0 win at Wembley Stadium:

The Three Lions last travelled to the Stade de France in March 2008 for a friendly best remembered for David Beckham's 100th international appearance.

Ticketing details for the trip to Saint-Denis will be announced early next year, with tickets available to members of the England Supporters Travel Club.
