Venue and time confirmed for England's trip to Slovenia

England will return to Ljubljana for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Slovenia.

The Three Lions will head to the Stadion Stozice on Tuesday 11 October (kick-off: 7.45pm BST) to take on familiar opponents on the road to Russia.

Only last June, England beat Slovenia 3-2 at the same venue en-route to qualifying for Euro 2016 thanks to a Jack Wilshere double and solo effort from Wayne Rooney.

October’s fixture will be the fifth meeting overall with Slovenia, England having won all of the previous four.

The registration period for this fixture closes at 3pm today (Monday 8 August) and ticket details will follow in due course.
