England Fan Zone: live bands & entertainment

Posted by Team England at 20:04 on Thursday 19 May 2016

For the Turkey and Australia matches, we will be creating an 'England Fan Zone' - an area directly outside each stadium offering entertainment, food and drink stalls and competitions.

For all England v Australia ticket buyers, head down to the England Fan Zone for when it opens at 3pm. Entertainment will be provided by a live bands and Q&A appearences.

Plenty of food and drink stalls will be available, with facepainters on hand adding to all the fun.

A map of where the Fan Zone is located can be found at the bottom of this article.

The England Fan Zone will offer fantastic live music and entertainment, interactive games and competitions and of course, bars and food outlets.

Located on the east side of the stadium, the Fan Zone will open from 3pm, giving supporters plenty of time to enjoy the pre-match build up. It will close just prior to kick-off, and re-open again at final whistle to allow supporters to enjoy a post-match drink whilst they wait for the crowds and traffic to disperse.

Supporters are being advised to arrive early for the game, with approach roads and transport networks expected to be very busy.

Was there yesterday, never heard or saw a band or face painters before the game must have missed them during all the queuing for food, drinks, programmes, merchandise, turnstiles & car parks!!!! Maybe they were around after the match for all the kids who didn't have to get up for school on Monday.

It says it opens at 2.45pm AND 3pm. I'll get there at 1pm to make sure I don't miss out. Frankie and the Heartstrings are half decent , they supported the Charlatans last year but it's the face painting that really attracts me. Only two more sleeps.

FATHS are worth a listen, some decent stuff.

Going off SAFC home games the bars inside the fan zone are very inadequate, so buy as many pints as you can carry/drink!
