UEFA Euro 2016 Ticket Update

UEFA Euro 2016 Ticket Update

Posted by Team England at 11:20 on Wednesday 17 February 2016

We would like to inform fans that payments for ticket applications have now been completed by UEFA.  Those members who applied for tickets should receive an email today from UEFA advising the ticket allocations by match.

Unfortunately, UEFA were unable to process the payments for some tickets and those fans who have been affected will also receive a separate email from The England Supporters Travel Club advising them on next steps to secure tickets to the tournament.

We have been working with UEFA throughout the ticketing process to assist members of the England Supporters Travel Club who have been affected by credit card fraud or lost/stolen cards. In addition there have also been a sizeable number of fans who did not enter their credit card details correctly or did not have sufficient funds to cover the cost of their tickets, we will also do our best to assist with these issues.

Further updates regarding the match-by-match breakdown will follow once all of the issues detailed above have been closed.

    19 caps and no Wales ticket - is that right?

    According to the FA we got 5000 tickets for Wales. I have a measly four caps but I did a tot up of the cap table and I reckon about 3500 travel club members have more caps than me so everyone with any caps at all should be OK. Or is that logic too simple? In the end we (me and my son who has eight caps) got the quarters and the final so we missed out on Wales and the last 16. I can't believe that people with 20+ caps missed out! By the way, as we don't know where the last 16 game will be yet maybe there will be more tickets made available if it's a bigger ground?

    I 've got 39 caps and still been rejected for all tickets, I've emailed england and UEFA and had no reply and the phone is saying they have a high volume of calls and to try again later, it then cuts you off. Why is this sort of "service" not surprising me

    Travelled to Brazil to watch that shambles in 2014, costing over £3000, turned down for tickets as partner is not a member of the supporters club! Stinks, bloody con, more ways of them screwing money out of us!!

    I'm on 13 caps and secured all 3 group games in cat 3. I'm so glad I ticked the option to be upgraded from cat 4 to cat 3. I booked accommodation with free cancellations a while ago, but I held out for the flights until the money for the tickets was taken off my credit card. I was then able to work out that I got all the games I applied for and got straight on the Internet and booked return flights for £200. I'm going out for 2 weeks for the group games only...

    For Wales you needed 24-26 caps to get in the 70%

    17 caps was the cut off for a Wales ticket according to ESC.

    Quite why people are so in a huff now about the clearly stated and long in place ticketing rules, is bizarre. People who have just joined up now complaining they haven't got tickets!!

    Caps = tickets.

    EF have organised this a hell of a lot better than the other home nations!

    Adam gunning thanks for comment yes had 18 caps .but I now think it's time for fans to complain about way memberships work but not at least the price of them it's a disgrace it's not football anymore it's a business run company the fa and clubs schemes all about profit how do these clubs and fa expect youngsters to afford to take up sport .I've now had to pay out hundreds on a ticket site for tickets now to make sure I can keep a promise from now on I won't buy Wembley tickets for Holland game and England fa you can keep my 2 Germany tickets I've purchased in protest at way the England fa run things .absolute disgrace

    18 caps isn't that many - some people have 60+, there's no god-given right for everyone to get a ticket!
