Tickets on general sale now for England v France

Posted by Team England at 11:33 on Tuesday 22 September 2015

Tickets for England v France, on Tuesday 17 November, are on sale now.

Tickets will be made available exclusively to members of the England Supporters Club on Monday 14 September at midday and it will be the last game for fans to earn caps to go towards ticket applications for England’s matches at Euro 2016.

You can buy tickets for the fixture through our ticketing website, please click here to buy tickets.

Ticketing information can be seen at the bottom of this news story.

England’s fixture against Euro 2016 hosts France at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday 17 November (8pm kick-off) will boost The FA’s official charity partner, Breast Cancer Care.

The Three Lions were the first team to qualify for next summer’s finals and are expected to take thousands of their official England Supporters Travel Club members across the Channel when the action gets under way in June.

The visit of France will be their first trip to Wembley since November 2010, which Les Bleus won 2-1, while the two teams last met in a 1-1 group-stage draw at Euro 2012 in Ukraine.

The match – to be called ‘A Breast Cancer Care international’ – will be the highlight of The FA’s two-year partnership with the charity and will see their distinctive pink colour given prominence at the national stadium.

On the night, The FA will present Breast Cancer Care with a cheque for £75,000 having donated the same amount from its FA Community Shield Fund when England Women played a historic Wembley fixture against Germany in November 2014.

Fans wanting to show their support can make a donation on the night or indeed when they purchase their tickets via TheFA.com.

FA staff chose Breast Cancer Care as their official charity partner back in summer 2014 and have committed to raising vital funds and awareness of breast cancer.

That commitment was recently backed by England stars who featured in a special video to highlight the charity’s viral #PassItOn campaign. The Three Lions also helped to launch a new nationwide roadshow at St. George’s Park with the mobile service set to tour 38 locations to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer in local communities.

England captain Wayne Rooney said: “It will be great that such a high-profile match against strong opposition will be in aid of Breast Cancer Care.

“Most people know someone who has been affected by this terrible disease and I am sure our fans will appreciate what The FA is trying to do to promote such a worthy cause. Charities like Breast Cancer Care give so much support and comfort to so many people and it is great that we can put them in the spotlight in this way at Wembley.”

Samia al Qadhi, Chief Executive at Breast Cancer Care, said: “We’re thrilled The FA will support Breast Cancer Care at such a prominent England match at Wembley. The funds raised through our partnership will enable us to help people affected by breast cancer with care, support and information from day one.

“Knowing what warning signs to look for can lead to earlier detection of breast cancer. This can be crucial in providing more effective treatment and, ultimately, saving lives.”

Every year around 42,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in England – that’s the equivalent of more than 100 people a day. This is predicted to rise to almost 50,000 by 2020.

The FA Community Shield Fund helps many good causes as well as The FA’s official charity partner including the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, the Bobby Moore Fund and Homeless FA.

Why is this the last game to count for caps? What about Spain v England on 13/11/15? I know it will only be confirmed if/when Spain qualify but surely if it is played, 2 away caps should be awarded to fans?
