For England and St. George - the countdown begins

Posted by Team England at 13:03 on Tuesday 14 April 2015

To inspire the nation to celebrate England through the power of football, we have launched a series of initiatives in the build up to St George's Day on 23 April.

Simply by signing up to our free-to-join England Supporters Club, fans could get their hands on a host of great prizes that will stir patriotic passion ahead of St. George’s Day.

From dinner with an England legend to a VIP tour of St. George’s Park with goalscoring great Michael Owen, ten daily competitions will be running.

What’s more, everyone who signs up at www.englandsupportersclub.com before 24 April will enter a draw to win one of 10 signed England shirts or one of 100 pairs of tickets for the European Qualifier against Switzerland at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday 8 September.

There will also be the chance to relive classic Three Lions memories with the countdown to England’s top ten moments, as voted for by members of the Supporters Club in a recent survey.

England vice-captain and Chelsea defender Gary Cahill lent his support to the campaign by filming an emotive video that highlights the united passion between Three Lions players and fans.

The campaign will culminate in two events on St. George’s Day as part of the Together for England Roadshow. Three Lions representatives will be in attendance at both St. George’s Park and the village of St. George’s in Somerset using the beautiful game to celebrate England’s national day.
