Slovenia v England info

Posted by Team England at 13:02 on Thursday 05 March 2015

We have secured an allocation of 1,846 tickets from the Slovenian FA. As we have had 3,141 Travel Club members register an interest in attending this match a ballot has been conducted, using the caps system, to determine successful applicants. We can confirm that the cut off for being guaranteed a ticket is 24 caps, therefore anyone under 24 caps was entered into a ballot. Ballot results are now available via the Tickets and Matches page on our website. If you were lucky enough to get tickets, see you in Ljublijana.

How to purchase a ticket
Tickets are priced at £30.00 and will go on sale from 12 noon on Friday 13 March until 3.00pm on Monday 16 March 2015. You can purchase your ticket by logging onto www.thefa.com/tickets, or by calling the England Supporters Travel Club line on 0844 847 2010.

Please note group bookings are limited to a maximum of four members per group. If you wish to be seated as a group please book your seats together in one order as you will not be able to add to an existing booking at a later date. In accordance with the England Supporters Travel Club Rules of Membership; please note that tickets are for personal use only and are not transferable under any circumstances.

Remember, when you are purchasing your ticket you need to quote your FAN number. If you are claiming tickets for more than one member you will need to be able to quote the FAN numbers and dates of birth of each member of your group.

Ticket will only be issued following a successful security check. The FA reserves the right to amend the method by which tickets are distributed to supporters. This means that supporters could be required to collect tickets at a designated location prior to the game.

In the event that supporters are required to collect their tickets, any delivery costs incurred will be reimbursed accordingly. Any change to the manner of distribution of tickets will not entitle supporters to any form of refund for the tickets purchased.

2nd Chance sale
For any members of the England Supporters Travel Club who are unsuccessful in the ballot or who missed out on registering their interest for this game any remaining tickets will be sold in a 2nd chance sale from 12 noon on Tuesday 17 March.

Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and no further tickets will be made available once this sale ends. You can purchase your ticket by logging onto www.thefa.com/tickets, or by calling the England Supporters Travel Club line on 0844 847 2010.

Wheelchair Access
For any wheelchair users please call us on 0800 389 1966 from 10am on Friday 13 March until 5pm on Monday 16 March.

Surely the F.A could request a further 1295 tickets then we would all be satisfied. A 24 cap cut off seems high I was thinking about 10.

It is unreasonable not to release just 3141 tickets, to release just 1846 is an insult to any group of supporters irrespective of which country they support, the European Football Union should step in and do something.

Oppose Platini for FIFA presidency if he can't do better in Europe.

Stop moaning you bunch of bedwetters. Its not the FA’s fault that Slovenia’s stadium is not large enough, nor is it there fault that you haven’t got enough caps. Give it a few years, stick at it and you'll climb the caps ladder.

Imagine joining up to a membership scheme where you knew and agree to all the rules beforehand, and where those same rules apply to every member. Then imagine your sense of entitlement being betrayed by circumstances which are dictated by the physical limitations of a foreign football association. I would be absolute outraged too!

No surrender to The FA scum!
