Italy v England - Update

Posted by Team England at 17:07 on Wednesday 04 February 2015

A ballot is currently being conducted but we can confirm that the cut off for being guaranteed a ticket is 18 caps, therefore anyone under 18 caps will be entered into this ballot. Ballot results will be available tomorrow via this website.

We can confirm that a request for additional tickets to accommodate all members was made to the Italian Federation. However, this was not possible due to the fixed segregation which encloses the away section. As the segregation barriers cannot be moved it was not possible to extend the away section beyond 2,099 seats. The possibility of securing additional tickets in another section was also explored but this was refused based on security concerns.

Please note that we are still awaiting the pricing to be confirmed for this fixture which is why the sale been scheduled for Friday 13 February. As soon as this information is confirmed we will advise members via this website.

Something tells me this will be last time the FA arrange to play Italy on Italian soil...

Come on Jason, the FA don't care about the fans, they only care about the media and jollies for their celeb chums. It was an after thought that they did any organisation at all. 6 months for a fix on a stadium and still no ticket prices? They are trying to put us all off travelling away

In my view the whole scenario increases the risk of trouble as England fans without tickets who have probably already bought travel and hotels etc. will now look to get tickets for the home enclosures. I know that's what I would do and have done so many times in the past.

Exactly Andrew, FA are stupid waiting this long to tell us as as the prices start to go up people will book? Now booked with no ticket they are gonna be out there anyway which means more trouble with fans trying to get in the home end etc.
