England Senior Player of the Year 2015 shortlist

Gary Cahill: 7 caps
England’s vice-captain was another player to enjoy a strong year on the international front, becoming one of Hodgson’s first-choice central defenders.

Joe Hart: 9 caps, 6 clean sheets
A big part of the successful Euro 2016 Qualifying campaign, providing a solid last line of defence for the Three Lions which resulted in six shut-outs.

Harry Kane: 8 caps, 3 goals
The Spurs striker burst into the senior squad in March after impressive peformances for the Under-21s and for his club. He made an instant impact with a goal on his debut moments after coming off the bench against Lithuania.

Wayne Rooney: 8 caps, 5 goals
It was a record-breaking year for the Three Lions captain, who became England’s all-time leading goalscorer after scoring his 50th goal in international football against Switzerland.

Raheem Sterling: 7 caps, two goals
The Manchester City schemer really established himself in Roy Hodgson’s squad in 2015 and scored his first goal in the 4-0 win over Lithuania in March.

England Under-21s Player of the Year 2015 shortlist

Jack Butland: 4 caps
The impressive Stoke City goalkeeper led the Under-21s into this summer’s Euro Finals in Czech Republic having been a strong influence throughout qualifying and in the build-up to the competition.

Carl Jenkinson: 6 caps
The consistency and dependency of the West Ham United right-back meant he was a mainstay of the team for the Euro Finals and a valuable attacking asset to boot.

Jesse Lingard: 6 caps, 2 goals
Arguably England’s best player at the Euro Finals, where he scored a stunning late winner to beat Sweden in the group stages. The Manchester United forward also added a goal against Germany to his record.

Nathan Redmond: 9 caps, 3 goals
It was a year to remember for Norwich City forward Nathan Redmond, who racked up impressive goals against Germany, Italy and Kazakhstan as one of the U21s’ senior players.

James Ward-Prowse: 9 caps, 3 goals
After taking over the captaincy from Jack Butland, the Southampton midfielder has proven equally fearless, with two vital penalties in the new Euro Qualifying campaign as well as a memorable winner against Germany in March.

As well as the two fan prizes, there are also two other awards for the England men's development players of the year, which will be selected by the England coaching staff.

Now it is up to you to help decide which Three Lions players you think deserve the honours for their performances in 2015. Voting for the three awards closes at midnight on Sunday 3 January 2016.

Jack Butland is such a mature young man, to be so good at his age is a credit to his ability and determination to reach the top.
