Scotland v England - important supporter information

Posted by Team England at 15:55 on Wednesday 12 November 2014

We have been provided with additional information by Police Scotland with regards to entering and exiting the stadium.

England fans are located in Sections 115-120 lower, and 417-419 upper in the east stand (Lisbon Lions Stand).

Access to this area is via Turnstiles 55 – 67 and by approaching the stadium on Kinloch Street at its junction with London Road.  It will not be possible to approach the away turnstiles from the front of the stadium or via the concourse outside the east of the stadium due to external segregation.

England fans departing the stadium at the end of the game may be held within the stadium for a short period of time after the final whistle.

On exiting fans will be directed onto Kinloch St and thereafter on to London Road.

England fans will not be permitted to travel north into Janefield Steet or west to access the front of the Stadium.

Spectator safety is of paramount importance and you are asked to follow the directions of Safety Stewards or Police Scotland.

Can you define a short period of time for keeping fans in after the final whistle? Would you say up to an hour, using spectator safety being paramount, as an excuse?

I think for the fans travelling to the game by car, of which they will surely be a lot, need some clarity on where to park. At the end of the day, everything else has been exhausted, I'm just waiting to be told where I am allowed to go for lunch and then I'll be sorted.

    Yours faithfully
