Jordan Henderson's superb training ground volley

Posted by Team England at 14:38 on Wednesday 08 October 2014

Jordan Henderson scored a stunning left-foot volley during England's training session at St. George's Park on Tuesday.

The Three Lions are in preparation for their European qualifying double-header against San Marino and Estonia, and the Liverpool vice-captain was on target with a delightful strike.

Henderson played a one-two with Reds club-mate Raheem Sterling on the edge of the box and the ball sat up perfectly for him to unleash a powerful drive goalwards.

And the shot sailed beyond the dive of Joe Hart and into the net, leaving the watching guests at the national football centre gasping.

The 24-year-old, who has 15 England caps, is yet to score for his country but, with two games this week, may have the chance to open his account.

First up on Thursday night, Roy Hodgson's men take on San Marino at Wembley Stadium and tickets are still available, click here to buy online.

They then travel to Tallinn for their third Group E match against Estonia on Sunday.

Great strike all Hendo needs to do is add goals to his game and he'll be a top, top player
