Estonia Ballot results

Posted by Team England at 15:14 on Wednesday 20 August 2014

Ballot results for our away game against Estonia have now been released, and all members that have applied have been emailed their results today.

For our match in Tallinn there were just over 3,000 members who applied for the 1250 tickets available; therefore it was necessary to use the ‘caps system’ to allocate the tickets. Members who applied on 21 caps or more were guaranteed tickets (70%), whilst members on less than 21 caps were placed in a ballot for the remaining tickets (30%).

Tickets for this fixture are priced at £22.

How to claim your ticket

If you have been successful and still wish to attend the match you will need to claim your ticket between midday on Friday 22 August until 3.00pm on Tuesday 26 August 2014. You can purchase your ticket by logging onto www.thefa.com/tickets  or by calling the England Supporters Travel Club line on 0844 847 2010.

Please note group bookings are limited to a maximum of four members per group and each person would need to have been successful in the ticket ballot. If you wish to be seated as a group please book your seats together in one order as you will not be able to add to an existing booking at a later date. In accordance with the England Supporters Travel Club Rules of Membership; please note that tickets are for personal use only and are not transferable under any circumstances.

Second Chance Sale

Any tickets that go unclaimed will be made available to all England Supporters Travel Club members in the second chance sale on a first-come-first served basis from midday on Wednesday 27 August by logging onto www.thefa.com/tickets  or via 0844 847 2010.

Remember, when you are purchasing your ticket you need to quote your FAN number. If you are claiming tickets for more than one member you will need to be able to quote the FAN numbers and dates of birth of each member of your group.

As we have been heavily oversubscribed for this fixture we will be asking all members to collect their tickets in Tallinn. A further announcement regarding the ticket collection point will be communicated in due course.

Please note that tickets will only be issued following a successful security check.

Wheelchair Access
For successful applicants in the ballot please call to book your tickets on 0800 389 1966 between 12 noon on Friday 22 August and 3.00pm on Tuesday 26 August to make a booking for this fixture.

why is it on first come first served basis to any travel member....surely it should only be open to the ones that registered an interest from the beginning and were not successful in the ballot, as many of those people have taken a chance and booked flights and hotels etc...not just open it up to anyone who decides to jump in at last minute?

answer would be nice from the FA but aint holding my breath

I'm on 31 caps and had an application submitted, as part of a group (me and my girlfriend), but the fa seem to have lost/have no record of my application so I haven't got a ticket.  They have a record of my girlfriend's application (she was unlucky on 19 caps).  Neither of us received any email from the FA to acknowledge our applications, but that is not surprising given the fact that I've not been receiving emails r.e. application dates/ifo etc. either recently.  Add that to the absolute dogs dinner of a website they've now got and it all adds up to total shambles.

I agree with Stephen Leonard. Should only be available to those who registered....

Let down by the FA again. Surely they should be asking for another 1000 tickets. The Estonia end will probably be half full!! Jokers.

I did not receive an email saying whether I was successful or not.  I have tried to buy a ticket and obviously I wasn't.  It is all very frustrating.  We need more tickets.  Why so few?

I know some lads who turned up in Estonia last time we played there and got tickets off the home fans for £50. Just saying.

Chris McCann - exactly the same happened to me for Switzerland. Good to see they've fixed the problem... complete shambles!
