Pop-up party a great success!

Jon Widdows from Chingford in Essex won a pop-up party at his house for the England v Costa Rica game on Tuesday, and said it was “one of the best Tuesdays ever!”

He was able to invite 10 friends to his house for a party thrown by us, and won a 48in Samsung Smart TV, England shirts for the party guests, food and drink, decorations and face-painting for the kids.

Jon was picked at random after entering the competition on the England Supporters Club website. “I was a bit shocked when I got the call that I’d won.” he said.

Despite the result of the match, the evening was a success. “Everyone had a great time, probably more so as there was no pressure on England.” he added.

We received over 5,300 entries for this competition which shows the massive public support of the England team even at a difficult stage in the tournament.
