EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Guest child doesn't not have passport

What do you do if you want to take a child with you who does not hold a passport. It won't let you get past the application process

That's a tricky one. As you know, the England Supporters Travel Club is for fans who go to away matches. So everyone must have a passport. I assume you are aware that, for Euro 2020 tickets from the FA allocation, both the applicant and all guests including children must be members of the Travel Club. Enrolling your child in the Travel Club would normally require him to have a passport.

With regard to applications for Euro 2020 tickets, it is my belief that the passport number is only used as a unique personal identifier. I wonder whether another number would fulfil this function, for example, the child's NHS number.

I suggest that you contact the supporters club to discuss (a) how your child can be enrolled in the Travel Club, and (b) how the Euro 2020 ticket application can be completed.

    0800 389 1966 or englandsupportersclub@thefa.com

All the blurb we are receiving says that our tickets will be delivered to us using a mobile phone app. If it works the way that it did in Portugal for the Nations League, the child's ticket can remain on the adult's phone. This means that the child's ID number would only be used at the application stage and using the NHS number ought not to cause any problems further down the line. But, see what the supporters club staff say.

And am i correct in thinking there is no kids price tickets so your kid could end up paying cat 1 prices which could be costly if you both have pay cat 1 for all games just worth thinking about

I’ve had this problem, and it’s not a problem you have to put your passport number in, they don’t check under 16s for criminal records, when it comes to your application as long as the information you put in your application is the same as you put in your estc account then no problem from uefa. Hope this helps but can’t help with the point Carl made it’s costing me more for one game taking 3 kids than for all the rest of the tournament.

    In reply to Richard Holland:

This is correct but a child can join the travel club without a passport as I’ve joined 2, as long as the child is linked to your account then you can use your own passport number, and as long as the information you give uefa, matches that you gave to the FA there is no problem.
