UEFA EURO 2020

Euro 2020 tickets for non travel englandfan members

My query is about getting tickets to games at Wembley when I am no longer a travel member for away games.Obviously that limits me to apply direct to the UEFA portal and take my chances. When I go to the UEFA website directly it asks for my fan number as well as my passport..I asked England fans about it , but their response was it was nothing to do with them and so ask UEFA about it.I will do that and report back here but for now I have chosen the option not enter it as I don't see why it is relevant and the rest of the people I am applying for don't  have a FAN Number anyway! Also I think UEFA have got a cheek in reducing the number of categories to 3 so that all the upstairs tickets are charged exactly the same as those nearer the pitch-that means there are more category 1 expensive tickets than any other category by a mile.

    Open this web page :-

    www.uefa.com/.../ticketing

At the top left, choose 'Non fan club'. You can then apply for tickets without being a member of the Travel Club.

UEFA has given absolutely no information about which tickets will be available through this route and how many. I very much doubt indeed that any tickets have been set aside by UEFA for this route. I would bet a pound to a penny that the available tickets will only be those tickets left unsold in the Travel Club sale. If so, this would mean that there would be few tickets, if any at all, and they are all likely to be the expensive category 1 tickets.

    In reply to David Lilley:

Well if you think about the size of Wembley and half the tickets being sold in the earlier allocation that still leaves quite a lot of tickets even after you take out the two teams allocations. I already got guaranteed tickets to the final and one semi final in the earlier allocation. What makes UEFA 2020 different is that the fans from other countries will only come to the UK much later and so are unlikely to bid for tickets outside their own countries games.Fans from England can bid for the spare tickets at Wembley now. This is good news because it should mean we get the bulk of the tickets for England fans and even those who are not travel members will get the chance to buy tickets. It won't be as certain as for travel members and that is only fair.
