EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Help- payment didn't go through

Just tried to buy our tickets for the semi final.  For some reason, the payment didn't go through.

It hasn't given me an option to try a different card- just says the order is in progress and that I have paid £0.

How can I pay? I've tried entering the codes again but they've already been used so that doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Check billing address matches your card billing address. Was the issue for me

Thanks. I think it's just my card provider being too sensitive. I can just use another card. But how do I enter payment details again?

Can you log into your bank app, there is often a button to authenticate a sale/transaction, just a thought

Just to update this in case anyone has the same issue. The order just showed in my order history as "in progress" while I had a panic about what to do. Then after about 25 minutes (?) it said "order abandoned" at which point my codes worked again and I was able to start over with a new order.

Thanks again, Alex, for your reply.

Check your card online account to see whether there is a payment pending.

If not, some members had a similar problem in earlier sales. If you wait for 30 minutes, the UEFA system voids the purchase and resets. You will then be able to try again without the system saying that the access codes have already been used. It might be an idea to try a different card this time in case the problem lies with your card company blocking the payment.
