EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Incorrectly Told I didn't have a semi final ticket and won't be In the ballot

Hi All,

I have just received an email that says sales data from UEFA shows did not apply for this ticket in 2019. When I am looking at an invoice from UEFA that shows not only did I apply from it I brought and fully paid for the ticket.

Not sure what to do because I would just be heartbroken to miss out.

Thanks

Holly Woodward

Did you apply through the ESTC application Holly or, like some, mistakingly directly through to UEFA?

I believe Through the ESTC as I was entered for the ballots for the other games and they are all of the same invoice from UEFA

Look at your invoice. If you originally bought your semi-final ticket through the FA allocation reserved for ESTC members then your invoice will say :

    Follow My Team England
    Semi Final England
    Upon qualification
Purchase category [whichever one you chose]

Phone Team England tomorrow on 0800 389 1966. Explain the situation and tell them you can email a copy of the invoice if they want.

    If your invoice says :

    Match 49
    Tue 07.07.20 London
Purchase category [whichever one you chose]

    or

    Match 50
    Wed 08.07.20 London
Purchase category [whichever one you chose]

then your ticket came from the general public sale so you will not be eligible for the ESTC tickets in groups 1-3.

I do remember that a lot of England fans travel club members made the same mistake.
Logging into the UEFA portal and buying tickets instead of the link that EFTC sent us.

But didn't England fans sort this out for people ?

I think Holly has replied on another thread that she may be sorted now as her ticket was a wheelchair one.

Regarding people mistakingly buying through UEFA rather than the ESTC - no I don't this wasn't fully resolved for everyone.

Hi Holly, can you post on here once you receive the email please as my father in law is in the same situation and is awaiting an email regarding a wheelchair and carer ticket?

He’s not the best at checking his emails so if I know you’ve got one I can get him to check his!

Thanks Holly. He’s got the email as well. Just waiting for England to sort out my son’s ticket which has gone into the wrong sale window (UEFA claim he requested a refund or wasn’t allocated a ticket even though he was on the same application) so hopefully will have tickets at around 4pm!
