UEFA EURO 2020

Since there is no cat4 is that classed as cat3 now? Just trying to decide to where to sit cat3 or cat2. I want to be bottom behind the goal but I guess we could end up in the gods?

Cheers good to know. Rules out my theory that they just fill from the back. Like you say wouldn’t go for a higher cat myself either. Especially as that’s no guarantee.

support.tickets-euro2020.uefa.com/.../360010520779-Where-are-the-various-price-categories-located-in-the-stadiums gives the various categories and from experience it is pot luck which tier you are in. Category 1: Centrally positioned
Category 2: Mainly to the sides of the main stand and the opposing stand
Category 3: Behind the two goals

According to UEFA Fans First tickets are effectively Category 3 tickets sold at a lower price than standard Category 3 tickets for the Semi Finals and the Final.

Thanks to everbody so far that have given the category / block numbers for tickets they've had for this Euros - it does really help.

Ive always been happy to pay a bit more for a higher category ticket for football, if it means a much better seat. In the Premier League it does pretty much guarantee a better seat, but as far as this Euros go it doesnt. Id be pick sick paying £500+ for a Cat 1 ticket then ending up in block 501 for example.

The numbers that the ESTC quoted last night didnt mention hardly any Cat 1 or 2 tickets for the Semi Final, and that they were allrestricted view . Anybody had any experience of restricted view at Wembley ? Cant see it could be that bad at the new Wembley ?

I presumed the only restricted view would be the flags hanging off the roof with uefa logos etc. Other than that I’m struggling and to be honest unsure if they do restrict as you’d have to be looking down on them?

    In reply to Peter salnicki:

I have a friend who had a restricted view for a League cup final a few years back. It was in the second row from the front in the upper tier, it wasn't really a restricted view at all, it's just that the safety bars / railings at the bottom of the staircase was slightly obstructing part of the six yard box. This ties in with info on another thread. They should be fine.
