EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Ballot tickets Maximum of 1?

So back in 2019 I brought 2 sets of tickets, 1 for me and one for my dad. Throughout the several ballots so far, neither of us have been successful.... until today. I'm successful, my dads not. Now I'm going through to buy a ticket(s), I can only buy the one.

I get that it needs to be fair and everyones name is draw out of a hat... but surely it should be done on the actual order itself. Right now, I have a ticket available to buy, but I won't be going on my own... so whats the point?

Anyone else been successful, but don't fancy the idea of going on your own?!

Everyone was balloted separately to ensure the caps system could be used as fairly as possible.

My honest advice, its England v Germany, in the last 16 of a tournament at Wembley. I wouldn't question going by yourself if I was in your shoes.

    Get yourself there

Visit a pub, or the ground early and start nattering to others on their tods.

This isn't one to miss and you'll meet some different people.

I'm in the same boat, on my own, as I've lost access to my son's email account so no idea if he has been successful or his access code. But for £42 a ticket, I've bought and happy to go on my own.

If for any reason you don't want to go on your own, i'm desperately looking for a spare ticket just to be there. Looks like im going to miss out on this unless I get a stroke of luck :)

    In reply to Gary Prince:

Gary, I would suggest setting up a new email for your son and then getting him to change his account email, either via his login on here or via ESTC at the FA. Get him to call them and ask/beg to be resent any email regarding the ballot.

Ring the ticket office, after being on hold for an hour I found out my son had got one but there seems to be an issue with some emai addresses. Gave me the code straight away and sorted it.

blogs: Tim Vickery: Gold-standard stadiums but the infrastructure looks green around the gills

Some may say that Brazil’s new 2014 stadiums have turned out to be ‘anywhere arenas,’ robbed of their local identity. It is an understandable point of view. A year on from its re-inauguration, I still can’t make my mind up about...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Shaw and Baines and the art of being comfortably No3

I’m old enough to have experienced the first-team shirt numbers as 1-11, and No3 was always the left-back. To receive that shirt at World Cup 98 was very special. There have been some greats and you can’t dwell too much on the significance...

blogs: Mark Wright: England at the World Cup is an amazing, powerful time

I've got so many memories of watching England - I don't know where to start! But I can always remember when the World Cup was on in 1998 and Michael Owen first played. I had the videotape of the tournament back then and used to watch it religiously...

Back in 1969, Charlie Croker and his team pulled off the Italian job, sneaking $4 million through a traffic jam. Forty five years later, well into their retirement, Charlie and the boys may well want to cross the Atlantic to follow England’s World...
