EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Entry Conditions for Wembley

Has anything been announced yet regarding the entry conditions for Wembley?

I haven't seen anything about the requirement for Covid tests etc. I am expecting it to be the same conditions as for the Riverside with home lateral flow tests being accepted but given that we are only a week away from the tournament starting it would be good to get some clarity.

If it keeps taking you back it means that not all the info you put in is ok, not necessarily the photo or video, it can be something as simple as putting your date of birth 5/7/1980 when it should be 05/07/1980, check everything you’ve input and look at wether it could be wrong and do it again. Once you’ve submitted the video you’ll get the reply, my reply came after 5 minutes.

Information information for Croatia game. See link below

    www.thefa.com/.../euro-2020-and-nhs-app

    • Failure to provide one of these forms of evidence will mean you are unable to enter the stadium

    • Food and drink will be available inside the stadium on all levels – this includes alcohol

    • Flags and banners will be allowed into the ground without the need for filling out a form prior to the match

    • Your ID – ticket holders will be asked to show a valid photo ID upon entry (i.e. passport or driver’s license)

    • If you do not have a smartphone please head to UEFA’s Ticket Office, located at the Wembley Arena, on match day or the day before from 10:00

    • Proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test (LFT) via the NHS App if you are 16 and over and registered with a GP in England. Your LFT result will show in the NHS App once you have reported it using the NHS self-report tool. Our LFT result will show in the NHS App once you have reported it. You can access it via the Share my status tab (passcode euros)

    • Or proof of full vaccination - both doses received at least 14 days prior tothe match (demonstrated via the NHS App or via the Scottish or Welsh vaccination record services)

    • Your face mask – Unless you have proof of exemption you will not be allowed entry without one

    • UEFA have given every ticket holder a 30-minute entry slot. It is strongly recommended that you arrive in this time slot to help facilitate social distancing when entering the stadium. If you arrive late for your slot you will still be allowed entry into the ground

    In reply to Paddy Buckley:

    Thanks for the advice Paddy.
I've finally got the video through the system.
I was wearing glasses on the video but not on the passport photo. I should have realised but passport photos these days are always required without glasses although I've never been asked to take them off at Passport Control.
Hopefully that will finally conclude the matter and I await their confirmation.
The one doubt is that after the video had been accepted and going through for their inspection, I had expected to get a final screen where I had to put my post code, name etc., as shown on the instructional video I received from David , but it went straight into a screen saying the information was going through their channels and I would be informed, I think by email.
Fingers crossed and thanks to everyone again.

Displaying your Covid-19 status on your phone

I've just gone through the process and thought it would be an idea to record the steps here. And then I found that the NHS has already issued a comprehensive set of instructions.

    https://www.nhsx.nhs.uk/covid-19-response/nhs-app-guidance-for-uefa-euro-2020-matches-at-wembley-stadium/

Ordinarily, you would need an internet signal at the stadium to open the NHS app and display the page. This might be a problem. The neatest solution is to take a screen shot of your status page, so that it is in your photo gallery. Alternatively, you can print it off on paper, in colour, as a pdf document or you can receive it as an email.

    Any help would be appreciated.
I am on the NHS App and have pressed to show proof of my Covid 19 status (use the test service) and when I pressed this, It says "enter the code from your invite".
    does anyone have this code?.

    In reply to Paul Leveridge:

Unless I've missed it, the NHS text that comes back saying you're negative only shows the date you took the test and not the time so I'm not quite sure how they're supposed to check that it was done after 11am today but I'm sure it won't affect gaining access. If you're concerned, just do it tomorrow or even Sunday morning because the result seems to come through within the hour.

    In reply to Tim Powell:

The message only shows the date but your phone will have a visible time stamp for when the message was received. Of course, the time stamp will arrive shortly after you reported the test result so will be different from the time when you took the test.
