    From the above News Bulletin

The FA continues to work collaboratively with the UK Government and local authorities to achieve the maximum spectator capacity possible for the latter stages of the tournament, which will be submitted to UEFA in early June.

We are continuing conversations with all relevant parties to try and secure an additional allocation of tickets for each match England play in.  Should our allocations change we will inform members as quickly as possible.

Team England, are you lobbying the government for the crowd capacity at the third group match and the Wembley R16 to be the same as for the semi-finals and final ? These matches are after England is supposed to have entered step 4 of the government's Road Map.

For those who like numbers here's the non take up rates.

Once again, no finger pointing here, lots of absolutely valid reasons that members can no longer make it due to such a terrible year.

Good luck to those who are entered into the next draw.

    Cat 2 - 14%
    Cat 3 - 14%

In previous ballots they have balloted the categories separately, so what happens now there’s low numbers, will it be cats 1 and 2 go to the 70% as well as 70% of the cat 3 or will they add them all together?

Think the ESTC team have previously communicated they'll continue to follow the same rules as previous ballots until exhausted.

The Scotland figures are hopefully included above.

That's not my understanding. At each ballot, Team England conducted one 70/20/10 exercise for the aggregate number of tickets available in order to determine who would be the successful members. Once the lucky members had been selected, Team England allocated tickets to them in the different categories in such a way that members in the 70% got 70% of the available tickets in each category, those successful in the 20% ballot got 20% of the available tickets in each category and those successful in the 10% ballot got 10% of the available tickets in each category. In allocating ticket categories to successful members, Team England took account of their original ticket preference, starting with the highest cappers and working down the caps table.

A consequence of this process is that someone whose caps record only just got them into the 70% would probably end up being allocated a category 1 ticket because the lower priced tickets would have been offered to those with more caps. On the other hand, the highest capped member in the 10% would probably get his first choice of a category 3 ticket, etc.

There have been comments on other threads about when we will get the tickets downloaded to the mobile phone app. I doubt whether this will be done until all tickets have been sold. UEFA will want to sort out the allocation of seat numbers after ticket sales are completed.

Anyone know what the caps cut off is to be inside the top 70% for these?
And did we ever get told how many had applied?
Just trying to work out my odds of getting lucky.

    In reply to Jake Borman:

Jake the honest answer is we don't know.

The starting point is the previous, second sale, pasted below.

Unfortunately we don't know how many people were in the mini ballots (32 Croatia, 30 Scotland and 33 caps Czech).

We also don't know how many on these caps and below returned tickets.

But what we can say is that the very maximums are the levels above.

    ESTC previous announcement:

England v Croatia, Sunday 13 June:

    • 33 caps and above in top 70% and allocated a ticket

    • 32 caps = a ballot was conducted for those on 32 caps to decide who was guaranteed a ticket within the

    top 70%

. All other members from Group 1 were entered into the bailot as per membership rules

    • England v Scotland, Friday 18 June:

    • 31 caps and above in top 70% and allocated a ticket

30 caps a ballot was conducted for those on 30 caps to decide who was guaranteed a ticket

    top 70%

    • All other members from Group 1 were entered into the ballot as per membership rules

Czech Republic v England, Tuesday 22 June: • 34 caps and above in top 70% and allocated a ticket

33 caps a ballot was conducted for those on 33 caps to decide who was guaranteed a ticket within the

top 70% All other members from Group 1 were entered into the ballot as per membership rules

Please note: Even though you may have been guaranteed a ticket for being in the top 70% you might be offered a higher category then you had initially applied for.

    Cracking response Matthew. Cheers.

Looks like I’ll narrowly miss out being on 28 caps. Like most of us, it’s the Scotland match I’m really after.

    In reply to Matthew Isle:

What might also help you out are the maximum number of ESTC members which were on these number of caps.

Obviously not all of these applied initially and some will have cancelled etc so it's the absolute worse case scenario in terms of member numbers.

    Good luck
