The tickets are now on my phone and the bar on the screen marked "Log Out" is no longer there and so presumably this was programmed to disappear once the tickets were in place.

You can still log out if you want to, though the method is by no means obvious. Go to the screen with 'My Tickets', 'Transfer History' etc. At the top it says "Logged in as: your email address". If you touch that wording, a box pops up allowing you to log out. You might have to touch it a few times to find the sweet spot that brings up the log out box.

David there are 3 in our group.....do all 3 need this app...or just the lead booker?

Stephen, when you first posted this question, I described what had been the situation at the Nations League in Portugal. Then, the lead booker had been allowed to transfer tickets to the other members of the group or keep their tickets on his phone. This latter option was useful when one of the party did not have a compatible smart phone.

The FA has now issued a News Bulletin giving guidance on downloading and using the mobile ticket app. They are saying that you're only allowed to keep a guest's ticket on your phone if the guest is a child. Tickets for adult guests must be transferred to their smart phones. Adult guests who do not have a compatible smart phone will have to go to the ticket office for a paper ticket.

Once the lead booker has downloaded the app and logged in they will be able to see all the tickets they have purchased. The lead booker will then need to transfer any other tickets in their order to the Travel Club members they originally purchased tickets for

Members will be able to keep multiple tickets on their mobile if they are entering with a child. Stewards have been advised to allow this process for anyone entering ground with someone under the age of 18

If you do not have a smartphone you will be required to head to UEFA’s ticket office on match day

I guess the cut off points have to be somewhere but the Cat 1 tickets do seem to be very close to Cat 3 territory which seems unnecessary with such limited capacity. For example, my mate originally had Cat 3 along with me whereas he's now had to buy Cat 1 for Croatia and is also towards the front of Block 504 whereas I've seen someone else on here say their Cat 2 is towards the back of 504 whilst I've got Cat 3 in Block 508, just 4 blocks along.

Ultimately, my mate is very pleased he has the opportunity to attend the game as he appreciates many fans would love to be there at any price. But I do question the logic of some of the categorisations given how much more expensive the Cat 1s are and the fact that the 1500 or so Cat 1s that will have been sold for each match could easily be accommodated closer to the halfway line/in the lower tier and still retain the required social distancing.

Just send us good old fashioned paper tickets that appear to have worked for the last 50 years.
My club have tried to implement an E season ticket or something like that, this idea lasted for 24 hours and then a choice has been offered for E ticket or card, this is the better option to give the paying customer a choice

Has worked well for touts at least. There's been noticeably much less touting going on so far for this one, and we don't have the usual newspaper stories quoting tout websites selling tickets for several grand.

If it wasn't for the touts in Russia, we wouldn't have seen a match!  :-)
