EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Confused?

Me and my girlfriend applied for tickets to the Croatia game and all the knockout rounds.

We didn’t apply for a refund when offered so we both were eligible for the ballots.

Before the cap reset I was on 32 caps and she was on 2.

Originally we were given tickets to all the games we applied for, however now after the new ballots she has been allocated a ticket, but I haven’t!

It was my understanding that the ballots were still being calculated using the caps total before the reset, so I am utterly confused as to how someone with 32 caps didn’t receive a ticket, but someone with 2 caps has!

Can someone enlighten me as to whether this is the case, or has some mistake been made, my girlfriend has only been to one game where caps were given (the other ones being the nations league finals.

Any help would be appreciated, it’ll be heartbreaking for her to be able to go and me not!

Thanks,

Danny

Tickets were allocated on the 70/20/10 rule for tournaments

You missed out on the top 70% by a few caps and, obviously, your girlfriend was nowhere near.

Looking at your caps record over the last two years, it seems like you missed out on the 20% sale as well, which was for people who had been to at least 4 home games and 2 aways in the last membership period.

So both you and your girlfriend were in the general 10% ballot for the Croatia game. She got lucky and, unfortunately, you didn't as everyone was balloted individually rather than as a group.

    Thanks for your reply.
I suppose I’ve just got to have my fingers crossed for the future ballots.
    Much appreciated.
