EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Hang your heads in shame UEFA and the FA !!!

I'm now unsure as to whom the beautiful game belongs to anymore. Is it the sponsors and all the corporate companies or the fans. As we only have a 3000 odd allocation out of 22000 tickets, it looks like football now belongs to anybody but the fans.

I had tickets all the way to the final and now have none. Lots of fans like me have invested time, money and passion supporting their country all over the world and have not been rewarded for what is essentially a home tournament.

Shame on you the FA and shame on UEFA, have you lost your moral compass !!!

I feel like asking for a refund of my membership for this shoddy decision making. Know what the answer will be but will allow us to air our thoughts about this!

I feel your pain but in my opinion most will be ok for the later rounds if we progress

Not really sure why you’re complaining at the FA, it’s UEFA that decide the allocations for UEFA tournaments.

We also need to get past this notion that any tickets not allocated to competing nations are going to corporate. Only a small amount of Wembley are corporate tickets, the majority of seats are sold via the UEFA ballot, which anyone could enter. I would argue that most of these were football fans who either aren’t members of the ESTC or figured they’d have a better chance through UEFA than the FA.

I know it’s frustrating and I know it’s upsetting, but we also need some perspective amongst all this

Yeah it’s very tough and a lot of people will be hurting from this right now, myself included as a good friend who I’ve travelled with for years has come up with nothing from the ballot despite being very close to the 70% cap cut off. Sad as it is we only ever had the same proportion of the allocation as we do now. The FA had little to no say whatsoever on this and will be doing all they can to get more tickets.
I do agree that the allocation given to fans groups should be higher for tournaments but this was never a fight The FA we’re going to win and both UEFA and FIFA run a very similar system.
