EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Souvenir Tickets

As all tickets through ESTC were going to be delivered by smart phone app, the spring 2020 application process included the option to request souvenir paper tickets which would be delivered to people's registered address after the tournament.

As we are now having all of our tickets cancelled and refunded, any request for souvenir tickets will also be cancelled and the €15 cost will be included in the refund. This is confirmed in the FA News Bulletin. So, when those members who get tickets in the reduced allocation pay for their tickets, will there be an option to request souvenir tickets again ?

For the Nations League in 2019, UEFA offered the option to request souvenir tickets and many England fans planned to take up this option. The souvenir tickets had to be requested at the time of the ticket application but we weren't told this until after applications closed and I'm pretty sure that this option never appeared on the application page of the ticket website. When people pointed out to UEFA that the option had not been on the web page they were told that the orders couldn't subsequently be changed to include this option.

The 2019 experience makes me suppose that we will not have the option to request souvenir tickets under the proposed system for the reduced ticket allocation. This would be a pity as many ESTC members save their tickets in collections. Imagine England getting to the final and we don't have a paper ticket for the collection.

Just received my Germany tickets which were the only ones I did through UEFA rather than ESTC.

Between getting these and the ones I ordered through ESTC I emailed UEFA about getting a ticket for the Czech game which was the only one I didn’t pay the 15 euro fee for and that ticket has also been included (although I didn’t get an email response from UEFA).

There doesn’t appear to be any logic for what you do or don’t get depending on how many 15 euro add ons.

Just as another reference point, all my tickets for all games have now arrived (in 2 separate deliveries), including the last 16 game which was the only game I didn't pay for. Has anyone had any luck from UEFA or ESTC on getting refunds for these given it looks like you only needed to pay once?

    Still no tickets received here.

The people who've stated theirs have arrived are talking in the singular.

I.e. I still think UEFA are sending out tickets to groups of 1 first and leaving groups until later.

Andrew - see my short update on the ESTC investigation on the previous page on this thread.

Thanks Matt. Just to add, my tickets were a combination of groups, and single tickets so im not sure the above theory stands.

All but one of mine were singular but the delivery today was Germany tickets that I had four of, in two separate orders and having paid the 15 Euros only the once across the two orders.

    Massive Update:
I originally purchased €15 for all seven souvenir tickets pre covid. Then paid €15 for the three group stage games and a further €15 for the Final.

Today, I received all six matches I attended. Very pleased. Thank you UEFA and ESTC/The FA.

I will be asking for €15 refund as the additional payment clearly wasn’t required.

FYI received my other 4 tickets all together today. I only paid €15 for the final, so happy with that. Hope you get yours sorted

    ****UPDATE FROM PREVIOUS POST*****

I have just recieved (from Fedex) the remaining 17 tickets I was expecting! I've no idea why they sent me just 2 and then the remaining 17 separately!?

I now have all souvenir tickets for all of the games that me and the group I booked for attended.

If anyone finds out about refunds for overpayment please do share on here, as I paid €60 altogether (4 x €15). Cheers.

Did anyone get a Ukraine ticket that they would be interested in swapping for a Germany one?

When tickets to group matches went on resale, I paid the €15 for souvenir tickets. However, I did not pay again for the knock out rounds, relying on Team England's advice that they were sorting something out with UEFA. My FedEx package has just arrived. All souvenir tickets are in the package : group matches and knock out matches, including the tickets for my son who was a guest on my application. The tickets are all customised to the actual seats which we were allocated. So Team England did sort something out and I have exactly what I wanted for 1 payment of €15.
